A all-soul run? This would be quite interesting but it would cost much time to make it... I try to improve Atma's run, and I'm at about 9:50 in the Clock Tower and saved already 461, but it took me about 10 days >.> So you have to gain the soul from each enemy you meet, then you must collect the others with Black Panther (if you aim for the best ending). The advantage of this run would be that you can use the chaos ring for beating chaos :) But good luck ^^

Well.. a promise is a promise... I'll resume the run today. Here is a sloppy progress. I'll redo some parts. I hope JXQ starts his HoD run soon too...

Glad that you're back and collecting the souls again. …19K of rerecords for the first three minutes of gameplay? Ouch. o_0 I see some insane numbers at the end of this.

I'll start it ASAP if it means you'll continue this! In all seriousness I hope to be starting it in a couple weeks. But in all seriousness I'll start it ASAP if it means you'll continue this!

hmm... here's a new WIP. Don't worry, I'll optimize Creaking Skull. I just posted it to revive this thread. =D

Nice, now you're whopping 47 frames faster by the moment of entering Skull's room, and the rerecord/frame ratio… Well, you've got to see that ratio. :D

Hey, this is very cool :) You make it look like it's trivial to get a soul. And don't know any mistakes (but you could avoid getting heart before the axe armor room). Btw, 35k of rerecords in just 1min ;)

Last night I found this weird glitch with the creaking skull soul... It's all about cancelling an attack with backdash+activate soul (B ,L+R). Most unfortunately, this works only with this soul.

Not bad... some interesting applications come to mind when I see that, most notably using it to set up many different attacks against one tough enemy as you enter a room, so that when you reach it you'll backdash right through it. Bummer that it only works with that one soul. How's all-souls coming along? (I wondered about your recent 1 minute WIP that skipped a few souls that you had gotten in the previous 3 minute WIP... some souls that would help with the dealing of damage, like enchanted arrows... I'm sure there's a good reason you skipped it.)

Man, I really love your all-soul-run. It is AWESOME! Hey, I am about to wright a small FAQ or something like that about AoS-luck manipulation. I learned a lot of things about it, so I think it wouldn't be bad to do so. Faster techniques found!

Yeah, that medusa thing is really neat. I hope someday we find a way to freeze the attack state of the weapons, like in HoD... Anywayz... after talking a bit with Sarou, I decided to do this test run. Some parts could be improved, I guess, like: Death: maybe it's possible to drop kick and whip the scythe, but those little annoying other little ones are a real pain. Balore: dunno really, but it didn't look too good... Graham: just now I noticed that for each attack he stays visible for a different period of time. I don't know if I got the best timing. Graham3: when he tries to attack with both hands, I could uppercut him, because for some reason Julius becomes invincible for a while after we do that.

eh, I'm not so sure about a run like this. It really makes it seem that Julius's abilities make the game too easy, and Julius's form of movement that sounds like "ooleh" got incredibly annoying in a very short amount of time.

Very interesting, and I see you've used a couple new attacking and positioning strategies compared to sarou's run. I think it might now be possible to bring the unassisted run time sub-3:20 even without LQD and Graham1 in 3 teleports.

The game is already too easy even when playing with Soma. Julius (and Maxim from HoD) doesn't change that really much…

Coincidially I happened to have the same idea and did a Boss Rush with Soma. It is slower than I hoped, it is done in 1:19:38. It can be improved in various places. Btw, I didn't use Blocking Mail. Pirate, your Boss Rush was very cool. That sound Julius always makes is really funny imo. I really laughed a lot :) The end time is very impressive... and the end of the of Death2 was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Edit: Damn, Claim Solais is better against Legion >.> Edit #2: Here a slightly improved version (all parts after Death redone). The run is now sub 1:19.

Well, Yrr... you should start by optimizing this. And the worst thing about Julius is that his mp doesn't regenerate, so everything after Death is a bit boring.
