How do I get rid of music in a AVI? After that, how do I add music to it?

Replace the audio track. This shouldn't be hard to do in most AVI editors.

Simple way if the video isn't using x264: - open the file in virtualdub or virtualdubmod, streams, stream list, disable the audio, save as, direct stream copy - to add sound, do the same thing with the new file but instead of disable choose add - this isn't the best way but you can learn from here
