I came up with this topic today. Walking in around the eatton mall in Montreal I came across the store "Game Buzz". Anyone else see any other cool store names?

Here in the US there is essentially ONE giant chain of retail stores that sell video games, although their names vary slightly from their pre-merger days. However, all of these names are teh suck.

There's a used video game (and other media) store called Preplayed.

The main chain of game stores here is aptly named 'Game'. Pretty poor. The only other I can think of is 'Gamestation', which is infinitely better than 'Game' as it still sells NES, SNES games etc.

There used to be a Funkoland where I live. I believe it's all GameStop now.

I remember Funcoland. Yeah I think it is Gamestop now. There are a few Gameforces in my area, although must of them suck now. They used to sell good old games but now they are filled with either new games, or the worst old games, mainly sports games. I went to one a few months ago and they only had like 5 games, just like 200 hundreds copies of each one. There is also a Gamefreak near my house, but it sucks too.

I can't remember funcoland selling games. Last time I went they sold toys only.

Game Buzz is only a great name, you can find any game there at almost twice the price. I really don't know how they make money.
