This movie clears the 40 lines mode of Tetris DX at level 9 and height 5. At this mode 40 lines must be cleared to finish the game. The goal of this movie is to finish the game as fast as possible. It is 344 frames (5.73 seconds) faster than nico's run.

The main improvement is a better strategy, and a better understanding on how the game works to make the blocks move fast. This movies goal isn't as novel as the other two NES Tetris movies, and clearing lines takes quite long. The pieces however spawn a lot faster than at the NES version, which makes the stacking of the blocks a lot faster than at the NES version. A lot faster too than the previous movie of this game by nico. The game keeps track of what time it played, and this actually seems the goal of this mode (completing it as fast as possible. The previous movie had an ingame time of '34', this movie has an ingame time of '28'.

Yay! Good looking Tetris-playing, and if that should get boring, the input display is having some crazy seizures. I vote yes.

Wow .. this has to break the record for the submission that took the least amount of time to get published. It was submitted on 22/07/2007 at 14:47:35, and published on 22/07/2007 at 21:11:07. All times are GMT -5. This means that it took 6 hours, 23 minutes and 32 seconds from submission to publishing. By the way, Bisqwit, is there a way you could add these kinds of statistics to the Movie Statistics page?
