http://www.viddler.com/explore/dainegai/videos/5/ thought this was very interesting and very entertaining, however it certainly isn't up to standard for the movies on this site. Anybody ever considered running this game with full epic optimization. I'm really into this hack, and I know hacks are discouraged, but I feel this is just begging for a legit TAS. Any Thoughts?

that is quite an amazing hack, but i think this belongs in the snes games section.
To re-imagine every obstacle as just means of honing craft and learn to laugh at failure's funny dream.

I agree, and I've moved it here. EDIT: Re the hack itself, it's just one of those generic high difficulty hacks. While a run of something like this would be good for showcasing glitches, I'd much prefer to see that done in the context of levels meant for actual normal game play - say, in a 96-exit run or a 120-exit Super Demo World run.

There is a tool-assisted movie on this hack and you can watch it on nicovideo: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8197849 or http://dic.nicovideo.jp/v/sm8197849 It looks quite optimal.
Retired because of that deletion event. Projects (WIP RIP): VIP3 all-exits "almost capeless yoshiless", VIP2 all-exits, TSRP2 "normal run"

I think that this is pretty useful, since it has the annotations to explain all the tricks. A good way for newbies to learn the TAS tricks for SMW. Rather, I'd link it instead of the Viddler one >_>

Link to video This game is officially broken. This time, I used the stun glitch to beat the level prematurely. The last room, for some reason, has sprite buoyancy enabled. That means that the fish will swim and activate the stun timer if he gets in the water. However there's no water in the room, but the offscreen area acts as water. The setup is similar to YI4 in the SMW any%. P-Switch -> Horizontal Fish -> Reznor (which ends the level) Movie: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/44187441227331633 Past records Download Difficulty: ★ 5:44.28 by Amaraticando [original glitched video with description] 7:06.10 by Dawn[Regnum0nline] (smv) 7:12 by PangaeaPanga [YouTube strike] 7:15 by TheFinalBoss726 and Dawn[Regnum0nline] (smv) 7:35 by PangaeaPanga [YouTube strike] 7:41 by TheFinalBoss726 8:05 by xKingBulletBillx 8:14 by ISM 8:46 by xKingBulletBillx 10:34 by dainegai PS: in the old records, the timing ends when the credits scene appears.

The sound mutes roughly half of the encode. EDIT: Thanks Amaraticando. Also, nice work once again!
