If it's for DOS, try JPC-RR. If it's for Windows, try HourGlass. If it's for some other PC Operating System, we don't have any popular solutions available at the moment.

Voting no, I always disliked the first Mortal Kombat game, and this is no exception. The mechanics are too dumb, and putting it in a sidescroller doesn't help.

I have to vote no on this run. I dislike the idea of using a beta version of a game, which is designed to show off the game for advertising purposes, not really supposed to be official and representative of the final version of gameplay. Such versions may be a bit different than an official game, but they're also expected to be buggier, and thus runs made with them aren't as impressive. Perhaps people who played this at E3 would find this run impressive, but I doubt our audience is populated by such people who would fully appreciate it. Nor do I know if E3 goers really dived into the game to the extent that they'd realize how many things done in this run aren't supposed to be possible. To me overall, this run seems a lot like the other SotN runs, just using a different route. Because of the similarities, and that we already have plenty of SotN runs, and I personally as a viewer don't really find this run to be unique, I just have to vote no.

The answer should be apparent and deterministic.

You can now place videos from Nico Nico Douga (nicovideo) on our wiki pages, including submissions, using our new nicovideo module.

JWPlayer that we use for playing embedded Archive.org videos on the site never worked quite right. For example, you were not able to properly switch between a JWPlayer powered video and a YouTube video on the movie pages. Such videos on the forum also had links around them appearing in the wrong place in some browsers. All these issues have been fixed. Along with that, fake links on the movie pages that would take you nowhere in some browsers have also been removed. Force refresh your browsers to get the new JavaScript. Lastly, the video tag on the forum now supports nicovideo too.

I would not accept this run to obsolete the current any%. Making use of passwords is normally unacceptable, and if they're used to skip levels, only in extreme conditions, and under special branches.

I think it does, and I think it's a fairly important fact that the glitch involves entering a password. There's a lot more controversy in glitched passwords than in other cases of glitching.
Indeed, but I find that the fact a password was used is not interesting, what was abused more so.

Not that I recall.

Okay, we need some other generic name then.

Glitched Low % makes sense, I'll go use that more generic name. Does anyone feel that the later levels have too much in common with existing runs?

<BrandonE> I need a nickname for myself as a camp counselor at a computer camp. Any ideas? So far, the best I could come up with is "8-Bit" <Mothrayas> 16-Bit <dada__> Dr. Watson <tematric> Dr. Flynn <Mothrayas> The Brandonator <dada__> Mozilla Quality Feedback Agent <tematric> Your Father <Mothrayas> IHateAllOfYou <dada__> readme.txt <arukAdo> system32 <dada__> RFC <arukAdo> winsocks.dll <arukAdo> format c: <-- Mothrayas has left this server (Read error: Connection reset by peer). <dada__> he's going to counsel at computer camp, not re-education camp --> Mothrayas has joined this channel (~Wout@2001:980:4a21:1:508c:9f07:548b:d4b4). <arukAdo> lol <Mothrayas> did I just miss the greatest name ever made up? <dada__> that would be kind of funny though. "help counselor, I feel like I'm being brainwashed." / "well, funny you should mention it" <arukAdo> yes <Mothrayas> and I suppose now nobody will ever tell me what it was? <arukAdo> of course <turska> what is counseling? <turska> playing shrink? <dada__> basically, yes, except more "you can do it" and less freudian analysis <arukAdo> lol shrink <turska> then it has to be dr. something <arukAdo> dr. payne <dada__> I think you should go for dr. readme.txt <arukAdo> winsocks.dll is more funny tho

Great, another confusing run. Passwords normally aren't acceptable. On the other hand, you glitched out the password system itself, and you also did the intro level with all the items at your disposal which is something one doesn't normally see in a run, and is thanks to this password usage. Because of this, I'm considering letting the password issue slide, and considering the run on its other merits. Once the above premise is accepted, it's only natural that the game moves right onto the Sigma levels. Having very little HP, a lack of upgrades, and certainly no Hadoken changes the game a bit, and makes this TAS stand out a bit from the others. I'm not sure if this is a playaround or a concept demo, or just some alternate method of play. I think a better name than "10HP glitched password, no dash" is needed, something more generic. The run itself had some nice entertaining moments. I'd vote yes for that, but I'm still not sure if I'd accept this.

Till now, we supported embedding SVN commit logs and RSS feed updates on our site. This allowed our site to display emulator updates or other feeds of importance. The modules used to accomplish this in the past have been deprecated in favor of a new feed module which supersedes all previous functionality. In addition to being faster, it now also offers the ability to pull Atom feeds! Now updates from Google Code sites not using SVN (such as GIT or Hg) can now be displayed as well, for example Dolphin. Or updates from GitHub. Thanks to this, embedding other kinds of feeds, such as an emulator bug reports list is now also possible.

Omega Red appears as an AI opponent, for what it's worth. Otherwise I don't think he's that interesting though, his unique specials pretty much consists coils, coils and Omega Strike and those would get boring before the end of a round. Shuma could've been interesting and has some interesting moves but I don't think there's all that much to do with him either.
These characters don't have normal humanoid movement, and look weird to watch. I also don't think either of them have any particularly exciting moves to see.
