As a slight clarification, only vested editors and above have the required priveleges to edit the submission text
EDIT: <Guga_> Anty-Lemon: Submitter can assign the other players editors of that specific submission

I never gave you permission to upload this to your YT channel
What's the big deal? People do it all the time. I am happy, if somebody uploads my TAS to YouTube.
He's pissed about it because this:

When MKDasher first became a partner in 2012 (before me), his views were ridiculous at the time and was making equal to US minimum wage for MONTHS due to massive views from his SM64DS TAS.
Wow, and he never shared any of that with me despite me asking him to. I had no idea he made that much, what a piece of shit.
Not sure how sonicpacker would know MKDasher was making that much money off of it, so I'd take it with a grain of salt, but that's Alaktorn's reason.

It's called microstorage, actually. DeHackEd is a person, like TASeditor :U
@OT: Not a big fan of barbies personally, but if this game is as difficult as you make it sound it should be interesting.

I don't have Killer7 but I know it's a GameCube (& PS2) game and I don't know if it has a changing the FPS within the game.
I also don't have a GameCube so my question is.
Does the European GameCube have a changing the Hz in the settings or does the game itself have this option when booting it?
It's a setting on the gamecube bios. NTSC can run at 50 Hz, too

Oddly enough, no other group of hobbyists seems to take such aggressive possession of their hobby. You would never see a bookworm or an amateur chef or a wife swapper telling other people that they couldn't share their hobby with them, or that they didn't deserve to because they were a "filthy casual".

Masterjun's submission notes (found here and here) contain most of the relevant information, or link towards other pages detailing the glitches used. But as far as tabbing between pages, distilling what's useful and combining tons of sources into something that makes sense: welcome to the wonderful world of ROM hacking*.
* I know ROM hacking is not the exact same thing as ACE, but it's very related and anything else would just make the sentence unnecessarily long.

Alright, loaded up Mega Man X and figured I'd see how long I could stand trying to keep my health full against the unbeatable Vile. Went at it for what felt like a good ten minutes maybe, then it finally crashed. I probably rewinded here more than I did in SMW.
What did I learn? It still crashes across games, and seems isolated to SNES. I also learned my thumb lacks the endurance it once had.
Crashed or froze? Crashed is a problem, froze just means your computer wasn't happy
EDIT: Oh, I didn't scroll up :P
My bad, I've met too many people who don't know the difference

Easier said than done; I did try making a temp encode like that when I submitted the movie. Upload ETA was 3 weeks per movie (my upload speed is not that great, I know...). Encoding improves that, as the file size goes down; but with my (limited) experience in uploading Sonic videos to youtube, sending a video without resizing (at least 2x) will result in a blurry mess because youtube thinks that low resolution = low quality.
Considering the gigantic file size, you dumped it losslessly, correct? Using a lossy codec, notably x264vfw, could help a lot. It has pretty good quality for being lossy.
And honestly, the majority of temp encodes aren't resized, but I don't mind considering they get the job done
Respect for trying to make a temp encode yourself, btw. I don't entirely understand why someone would give themselves more work after the TAS is done :P

I have finished encodes for the US Soundtrack. Starting the JP/EU Soundtrack now.
I swear, even if it is better, you don't need to post the JP music version at the same time if you have the US version to show now.
She is doing the publication encodes, not the temp encode.
All the temp encode takes is to dump the avi and throw it on youtube; it doesn't actually involve any encoding

That in no way is a legitimate category, because it uses a glitch to copy the contents of the third files inventory into the Hero mode file. I made a demonstration of it a couple of years ago.

I mostly did it as a protest to runs that were being submitted here with pre-made files.
You couldn't call it a new game+ or something?
Then again, afaik there isn't anything special a TAS could do to the route that can't be done in RTA, unless you could abuse the old save file enough
