Great work optimizing this game. That was surprising, considering how lag requires a lot of patience and testing.

I don't know how to exactly say about Sound Menu, but I'm fine anyway. Most because I aimed for in-game time too, pausing the game and lasting longer than my 2016 TAS (earning 00:29 from level 17 was close to impossible, for instance)

Well, I should have worked weeks before: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/74378685126672182 Improvements: at the second room of level 16, it's faster climbing from the other side. I also improved two standing jumps (third and fourth room, respectively) Well, I tried to improve the boss room and no success. The "extra fast" princess scene before level 20 isn't present this time.

Wow I didn't expect to see an improvement to this game so soon. Really great work and dedication! Thanks for adding me as a co-author. Although I never TASed a DOS game, finding that wall glitch and new strategies were much more rewarding for me. As I said before, this game is now a breakthrough, and more fun to watch.

If you look closely to my input, you'll notice I actually pressed down+right (actually only down button is necessary) immediately after he turns around. Yeah the alternative method is easier to perform.

The real reason why that horse level is impossible to complete is because the actual room before horse room was deleted for some reason. Too bad that wall clip doesn't work with wide walls this time. Even without that glitch, the technical optimization is great (and it includes some new stuff, like that glitch used on levels 3, 4 & 11, and the new Jaffar battle). Yes vote.

It's been years I've waiting to see a TAS of this original version and finally someone did it. Great work and a big yes vote! ------------------------------------- Yeah I discovered that wall glitch by accident when I was testing this game a bit. Initially it seemed to work with thin walls, but GMP noticed this glitch works with wide walls too. That discovery was really stunning, and for the first time the original version of this game can be broken. This game is one of biggest contributions I've ever did ;)

While I'm busy with other projects and stuff, finally I decided to update this game again: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/73003599819213111 - No scrambled buttons - That "new sprite" sucks (unavoidable loss at every gate skip) - I didn't test resetting on Level 19 yet, so I decided to reset on Level 17 (actually TASing Level 16 was difficult). I remember when I watched the old run years ago. It was surprising how Dooty optimized this game very well. The fourth boss is easily my favorite moment of both old and new TAS! RNG sometimes is very frustrating, and after 3-4 years, finally you managed to finish this project. Great work optimizing a very solid game. Yes vote.

I'm not much familiar with this game, but the comparision encode and this submission text were really useful to understand this new TAS. This result is really surprising given the previous TAS improved this game for 5 minutes with solid (and skilled) gameplay optimizations. Fantastic new finds and skips. Yes vote.
