The Jill trilogy ... assuming that bundle of abandonware is still floating around. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jill_of_the_Jungle

Well for some reason, many of us on #tasvideos agree that you could have saved the animals while you were hard at work going "ape" at N.Human.

I can understand video-game adaptations of TV shows were very popular then, but what about the TV show itself? Most of the time the games based on movies don't follow exactly to the plot line based on the technical limitations of the hardware ... or maybe the developer team were just too lazy to go out and buy a movie ticket. On the other hand, this game was so fast-paced you would think that they were even going faster than Powdered-Toastman Voting yes.

There has been a general problem with a Comcast user, especially trying to download the Pit Fighter and the Strider TASes (47 hashfails, to be exact). Is it possible to ban some of these Comcast users from the tracker for sending bad data to the swarm?

OpenDNS is blocking mininova.org. I'll have to put it in my whitelist to get into it. Seems that site is being blocked due to the amount of warez/porn being downloaded from there.

I did see a few garbage frames even with the new version of VLC player in Windows. This MKV container format just isn't working right! You just can't cut corners and expect things to work as they should.

Wait, wait, wait... Something is out of place here. What's the NES's sprite size limit? There's no way Bowser can grow THAT big... Whatever. Someone should do a rough encode on this, I don't wanna risk downloading anything to play this movie file for it.

For those that missed the memo, they've disallowed connections coming from mibbit, so therefore some users who chat with us on our IRC channel regularly will have to use Freenode's own webchat portal here: http://webchat.freenode.net/ Citing abuse, the FreeNode staff decided that they could no longer trust the mibbit webchat client and prevented any new connections from the service. This will affect some of our regular users on our channel.

What would I have to do first, ignore the ratings and concentrate on getting the gold cups first? Just so you know, I deleted the powersave.

So ... Now what, are you saying I'm screwed? This is basically the same exact crap I've been getting on the Gamecube game Mario Kart: Double Dash! All over #nesvideos I've been complaining how MKWii fails at how it "grades" your driving style, even. It would give me as low as A-rank, B-rank, C-rank, etc ... when on the 50cc and 100cc I've gotten 2-star and 3-star rankings already!

If the bugs aren't fixed in FBA 0.0.3, my Blue's Journey WIP may someday face the Grue! For the future of the speedrun and all other future arcade speedruns PLEASE fix them! :(

Now, I'll be using this to practice on... How do I make sure to achieve ultimate greatness while keeping my sanity racing on 150cc and mirror?

Copied. Stealing someone's work is DEFINITELY a no-no! You've completely failed us for the last time.

You were just warned that if you post another movie of exceptionally low quality in the next 24 hours, you'll be temporarily banned from posting any more movies. Tool-assisted speed runs require luck-manipulation, timing, skill, precision, abuse of the game's glitches (often), accuracy, and more importantly, decision making -- whether to use death as shortcut or to collect a powerup or to use a warp. (Taking damage to save time only applies if you can "damage boost" off of an enemy, and that your player has enough stamina to do it with.) And during creation of these speedruns, more often than not, either slow motion and savestates are used. You used neither.

Maybe some time down the road when we vote on what our favorite Gruefood would be, we know we'll be picking on this kid, again. Now as for the valid submission on the 0-stars run, have we reached our limit already? Because it seems we haven't seen another good submission on it in months!

7-Zip isn't very much used, and I'm not trying to steer anyone wrong or anything, but when I use it to store my programs and stuff, some of the program files I put in these archives actually bloat! Is it me or did the 7z file gain a few extra megabytes?

I got suspended because I was false reported on my MKWii videos. Although this has nothing to do with TAS'ing, I did ask for help in OT, but nobody has answered in it yet...

Finally! Some Gruefood delight! I saw the movie, and it was as EXTREMELY PAINFUL as my YouTube suspension. Did you realize I held an account there for three years and not one time have an incident of such type like that until just now?

There's no way in hell you can beat Super Mario 64 in 140 seconds, and some change. Lest it be by cheating, hacking or likewise breaking the game codes (as in reverse-engineering) to make it work the way you intended it. Already there's a submission time for a "0-stars" run at 5:28.97, which is "VALID". Now I can tell for sure this thing is gonna be gruefood in about 2 seconds...

I am at a HORRENDOUS loss at this game. When you get around to the 150cc cups on this game, the item spam and the racer AI is terrible! And forget the Wii Wheel. Times before did I try to play the game with it, and the stupid wheel doesn't want to turn the car the way I wanted it! It's impossible to get a three-star rank on every cup, and every engine class, even mirror mode, without getting blasted by every item and obstacle imaginable out there, in this game! Or falling off the race track... Now I would want to practice playing using a powersave, but what's the big risk using such a file, and what happens if the big-N decides to roll out a new patch to the Wii firmware?

Hi. There's a problem with the NesVideosAgent on the IRC channel. It's not reporting anything that's changed on the site, or any edits made to the forums whatsoever. This is an extreme inconvenience to folks in IRC because, they're not gonna see where their next TAS movie will be coming from!

Another reason is the "Mother 3 Fan Translation" screen being inserted between the "Health and Safety Precaution" screen and the "Game Boy Player" screens, respectively. There is a wait period before input is accepted to clear off of that screen. It would completely throw things off if you attempt to merge gameplay input with the unpatched MOTHER3 game.
