Also, Whoa. Didn't know there was a Show do Milhão TAS lying around. I did make a silly one for the first volume in 2024 in less than an hour on an RTA WR attempt stream, but the laptop I made it in is long gone. Shouldn't be too different from Eduardo_EVF's movie, though. Planning to make more TASes of brazilian games, like Mônica em: O Mundo Perdido, but libTAS doesn't work with that game yet.

this probably won't get published because its made used a custom emulator (i don't know how accurate it is, but it seems accurate on the video) but the concept is really cool

As far as I know, there are not skips like that in any other level in this game

It's a skip in the 4th stage of the game. There are 4 waterfalls in that stage, all having enemies coming your way that you have to jump over, however, at the end of the second waterfall, you can simply run into the wall and it'll simply end the level and get you straight to the boss. Is it an intentional game feature? Is it a glitch? Can it happen somewhere else? I really don't know

Well, I think this could be some sort of skipless branch submission, but I don't really know if that a skip or actually intended by the game's developers, in my opinion, I think this movie should still be up until a faster one is made without the "skip"

Ok, i GENUINELY* did not know about that. If any mods are reading this, you can set this TAS to rejected because i'm definetely making a faster one with this strat.

Yeah, pretty much what Incendration said. If your TAS isn't the best in terms of time in the category you're aiming for, the best option is uploading it to User Files. A no for me.

I did notice a bonus game after Fase 5, that I don't usually get when doing runs, although I'm unsure if that's due to this version being different in that regard, or due to you destroying more enemies and getting the bonus due to that, in which case I'm unsure if not killing some of the enemies would be faster than taking the bonus game.
As far as I tested, taking a death to avoid playing the bonus game is slower than simply beating the level normally. So, let's just take a bonus, I guess

To indicate which ROM it is, just post its hashsum (MD5 or SHA1 are the popular ones).
This is the SHA1 of the ROM it was played back (with the opening) 295E3FE1EAEC3E5181E7DCB46CEC6507D393B82D This is the one without the opening B76D3A24E7CFF4C1D6396E263953322E (The TAS was created in the version without the opening, and then I edited it on the version with the opening)

Oh, i see what you mean now. I just added it there because many people don't know that the rom you donwload anywhere has the opening removed, but if it is against the rules, i will remove the links.

Mechanics are quite annoying in this game, and the last level made them look especially bad, so I decided to do some more checking and saved 280 frames (compared to the trimmed version of this submission).
ok, i'll certainly have to make another tas and a hard mode one.

Thus the end of "easy mode" from what I'm seeing is like a "bad ending" where the story is only partially completed, and hard mode is needed to achieve a complete (and I believe acceptable) ending.
There are a lot of verified movies in this site that get "bad endings", so I don't see why this TAS should be rejected, but if it does, I'm certainly making a Hard Mode one, as those levels are also getting some strategies/glitches.

I thought i could post an "Easy Mode TAS", because there are TASes in hard and easy modes of the same game.

nice run. but can you also make Hard mode TAS? It is preferable to use hardest difficulty if it have more levels.
I'm thinking to do that! But as there are more levels, it means more strategies to be abused. I'll surely do one if this one is approved.
