As a follower of your first WIPs(and even those were superb) and a person who's attempted a console speedrun of this game and finally gave up after months of failing (really badly), I have to say I'm really excited about this run! I'm probably going to watch this later today.

Does that even work on current-day Windows? I had that back on my 486.
You can download After Dark 10th Anniversary Edition and install it on XP (or possibly Vista)

Why don't you try After Dark? It's really good, and it's been around on Mac (and PC) for more than a decade.

Why NES version? You should try the SNES Wayne's World.

I'm glad to help. ;) Also, thanks for helping me make my decision of which emulator to TAS with, guys!

Hmm... You could be right. But shouldn't Mac OS be similar to DOS (and possibly easier) to TAS with?

Oregon trail is for Apple II, not for the specific Macintosh line. But you have a good idea there.

As of right now, there are two decent classic Mac OS multi-platform AND open-source emus(Sheep Shaver and Basillisk II) and I'm wondering if there could be at least some effort to implement a rerecording function on them. Also, Apple II would be nice. Note that Apple II is different from the Mac.

Hmmm... I'll try it. Thanks! BTW, which version of FCEU are you using?

I'm seriously thinking of completing the TAS too, but I have to use a keyboard.

On my computer(Windows), when I try to press any button on FCEU, it highlights the link to the file menu and the other menus every time(the ones on top of the screen), which makes normal gaming, let alone TASing, impossible for me.

Thanks for moving the thread.:) Also, I was thinking that for virtuaNES to be considered "obsolete" as said in the Emulator Homepages page, there should be some missing TASing feature. If there isn't a missing feature, it's no more obsolete than Famtasia.

What specifically gives FCEU the edge to virtuaNES for TASing? It isn't stated very clearly in the info pages why. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Would a TAS of this game be accepted? I would definitely want to see a run published, but the fact that it's a PC game limits who can make a TAS.
There is a N64 version.

I think you should put a TODO notice to replace the screenshot.

Sonic Drift 2(or possibly the first) Sonic Labyrinth(even though a lot of people said it bombed) I'd like to see runs of those. Especially Sonic Labyrinth, cause it's a lot like Sonic 3D.

I was first introduced to this game by Exilant's TAS and you certainly demolished his time! Yes vote.
