For multisegment input, use AppendSegment() from encode.avs. It takes base of the filename, first segment number, last segment number and format, like if you have all segments numbers appended with zero up to 3 digits, you use "%03.0f", if zero is not appended, just go with "%1.0f".

Hmm, such a huge file, but that error is about timecodes, which I've never seen break. For the sake of testing, try a lowres version of that dump and just run the script again, maybe something got corrupted when generating timecodes. Anyway, how did you dump it?

Spike have you started? I have an idea of a lua script that'd make it trivial.

Guile, the worst kind of lie. It can be tolerated when one calls black white about daily routine things, but not when people are treated as such things and manipulated accordingly.

It's weird how it works in the world, but if you have some absolute wish that occupies all your heart (usually not without a reason), you'll never get it. If you just need some emotions from having friends or a girlfriend, you're not getting them, because that way emotions become more important, and people start thinking they are friends with you not "just because", for the sake of it (how it's supposed to happen naturally, there's no reason for friendship, it is just there, or it is not), but to satisfy some of your personal hidden needs. I'm not saying you must stop having those needs, I'm just saying how people take them. Why is it so? Because it becomes a weakness, and being friends to satisfy someone's weakness is what people don't want/like to do, because it looks to them they're giving much but getting nothing meaningful. It requires dealing with one's hard aspects together. How do you change people's minds? It's like with helping in some other complicated spheres - you should make your weakness your target and start spending efforts on fighting it. Because after all, it gives nothing you you either, it just takes away. And after some time, when you have some success in fighting the thing that's way more important for you than in-game lag or sloppiness, you will start feeling more filled, less empty, ideally, you must feel like you are your best friend. It is some special social strength that people are attracted to! People start getting interested in having contact with you, just because they don't know how it all works and they (frankly) are ready to get part of your strength or happiness even if they have nothing to give you back. Only then you get a chance of meeting a person who also has the same approach in life, and doesn't have problems with dealing with your weaknesses, but since you already started fighting them, doing that together will be more productive. How does one fight these weaknesses? I dunno, when you have such a goal, you just use absolutely every aspect of your life to seek its roots in yourself and destroy them. Now, why should you go through all of this? Everyone should, people just have varied timing in these things, some start having these problems earlier, some start having them later. If you have them early, you have a chance to become an expert in that stuff when other people only start having such weaknesses. On the other hand, there are people that are okay with being parasites, which means they will use your weaknesses to kill you for their own fun. Lies is the best detector. Whoever lies to you, has no respect for you, and should be got rid of asap.

I moved it to tastudio thread, use it from now on. And for whatever bug, post exact reproduce steps for any layperson to repeat, but still, there are bugs on core level, like happened with gpgx dropping some input in states, and there's still nondeterminism in it. So we need to make sure it's a tastudio bug.

What if we put Kappa there? Even more room for details and stuff. And a great way to setup the following crazy part. Hmmm, maybe even in both name and image? If so, it might be some cool dithered 3d-ish name, I might try.

Sorry, if I misunderstand, but the situations are very real. How is "me accidentally hurting myself against my free will" a nonexistent situation? Have you ever hit your toe on furniture or otherwise accidentally hurt yourself? Was it your free will that it happened?
I addressed that in my post that you quoted. One can choose to bear hardship that will make him evolve globally if born right. No, I don't mean that one must just accept everything and go with the stream. Figuring that right way is the hardest challenge in the universe, because if someone constantly shows it to you, you can't freely evolve, and if no one shows it to you, your life becomes impossible. That gradually comes to the question of why free will is "constantly violated" in Bible. First of all, the man does have a choice. God tells him to do something, and not simply takes him as a robot and does it using him directly. Then, not all events that happened in one's life would be described in Bible. Only the ones that have some historical meaning. Also, what God uses to say in Bible is exactly that right way that mankind would not evolve without. Finally, free will is not the same as absolute freedom of action. You have a choice in what you have, but you can not always choose what you have. Guess what? If you really want something, the universe allows you to strive for it, and depending on how strong your will really is, and how fantastic the dream is, you may or may not have it in the end.

Genesis 1:27-28 --> God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Is this not a correct assessment of the "free will" involved: 1. God creates something. 2. God doesn't ask the creation what the creation wants to be. Just like we don't ask the sims. The sims have about as much free will as Adam. (I for one would love to have more hands, brains and eyes! Would you not? Would Adam? Nobody even asks his opinion!) 3. After creation, God commands what the creation must do. 4. Therefore, God violates the free will of the creation.
That part does not explicitly say man was created with ability to invent an engine. Would you say he didn't have it? And yes, how one's free will is supposed to be violated if he does not exist? And how can you talk about will at all in the first moments of one's existence, when one has little to no grounds to base his free choice on?

If so, then is this not correct: 1. Being deceived can't be anyone's free will. 2. The creation was deceived by the snake. 3. Therefore, the creation had no free will on the issue.
That's exactly what I said in my post.

1. Satan knows God directly, perhaps better than anyone else. 2. Despite the direct knowledge of God, Satan uses free will to be against God. 3. Therefore, Satan's free will was not violated by the direct knowledge of God. 4. Therefore, God would not violate our free will by letting himself be known to us directly (rather than through faith shenanigans).
I don't know where you're getting these from.

That's a bit paradoxical. How would you be able to choose whether to be born or not? You have to exist in order to be able to choose.
I totally agree with you, nfq. But this is a religious debate thread, so logic doesn't matter much, as Bisqwit so eloquently put it.
If you say something, you are supposed to understand what that means, so logic must be an important part of any discussion. But yes, you can't know everything using just logic, you also need mere facts, and if they contradict logic (or rather your notion of logic), then you have to tweak your logic. It's what your beloved science does for all these years.

No, you are trying to disprove my statement by inventing nonexistent situations. You have a free will to disprove them, so any cause you could find you will use against it, even if it in fact proves it.

I have a reason behind my suggestion, other than it being the easiest to draw. If this whole playaround is about being dead serious and perfectly fitting as many boring routines as possible, yeah, out of order and nothing more. But if one has sense of humor, out of order would read as "yeah, this is how he looks right now, but here's Raelcun we all know!" And sneakily drawing hair after text just looks funny in itself, like we're reverting time by doing it.

Free will is an interesting matter. When one makes a decision, it's preferred to weigh in as many factors as possible, until new factors that one could ponder start making so little impact that they could be sacrificed. This is kind of when one's will to dig in ends. But before it ends, the more you consider, the better decisions you make. So all unbearable and good experiences of life are the means of figuring out a good decision. And the only thing that can violate a free will is (ironically) someone's free will to violate others' free will. If one decides to break all the rules he can find, there's no rule that'd be at once suitable for rule obeyers and for such rule breakers. Because rule obeyers need more precision and fine tuning, which will cause greater damage if rule breaker touches it. And since they always co-exist in the same universe and in the same social groups, no rule can be perfect. Nor can a rule to not violate others' free will save us from those who want to break it. So this is a moral decision. If one prefers his own pleasure so much he's ready to force others into suffering, he's lost to humanity. Now what about the other way? If one decides to experience unjust suffering from others or from circumstances (caused by others or not), what good can that provide? If done right, it provides constant overcoming, which is the only way to achieve something that was plain beyond one's capabilities. Considering all that, I'd consider the current universe ideal for what people can achieve within it if they do it right.
