The Silver Case (シルバー事件, Silver Jiken) is a mystery-adventure game by Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51, and the first game by his game company Grasshopper Manufacture. It is a highly experimental and densely plotted game that makes use of multiple visual mediums to tell its story, making use of early CGI environments, live-action footage, and even hand-drawn animation. The Silver Case revolves around the mystery behind Kamui Uehara, a notorious serial killer who assassinated a number of politicians long ago, and a string of murders that are somehow linked to him. However, Uehara supposedly died years before the game takes place, complicating matters. Follow a detective group called the Heinous Crimes Unit and a number of other characters, including a freelance reporter, as they unravel the mystery and a conspiracy that possibly ensnares the safety of an entire city.
idkdkak in this run completes the game in record time by reaching the credits scene, post-credits scene, and the point in the game where it immediately returns you to the title screen, which counts as the definite end point.
