The 14-15 Puzzle is a puzzle game for the Commodore 64 that's based on the type of sliding puzzle known as "15 puzzle". The goal of the puzzle is to slide the fifteen numbered pieces around until they are arranged in numerical order. The challenge comes from doing it with as little moves as possible. The game has three modes: "14-15 Puzzle" where the layout is nearly in numerical order except 14 and 15 tiles are switched, "Reverse Puzzle" where the tiles are in reverse numerical order, and "Random Puzzle" where the tiles are randomzied.
In this run, nymx plays all three modes in record time, making use of special scripts to make the game generate the most optimal puzzle for "Random Puzzle" mode.
The baseline tab shows the default movie beating the game as fast as possible without any special conditions.
