The main goal of this movie is to achieve a great RNG seed, in order to negate as much menuing as you can. I first tried TASing Clue back in January and, being fairly inexperienced, it failed miserably despite how simple it actually is. I figured that because I'm no longer a scrub I might as well try one of my first games again, and I think it turned out pretty well.
There's not much to actually explain in this run other than the only thing you are shooting for is perfect menuing. Other than that there's nothing else to really worry about unless you have a terrible RNG seed.
Differences between the GEN and SNES version
- The SNES version has no cursor animations which saves a few frames
- The SNES version doesn't have a SEGA startup logo which saves about 190 frames
- The GEN version loads new screens slightly faster overall
- The GEN version needs extra button presses to negate lag frames when animations load during an accusation.
