About the Game(s):
Action 52 is an unlicensed game made for the NES and Sega Genesis, featuring - you guessed it - 52 different video games. The NES port was published in 1991, whereas the Genesis port was published in 1993. Both versions were published by Active Enterprises.
Dam Busters is game 11/52 in the NES port of Action 52. You play as a beaver who has to travel through 2 dams and avoid enemy beavers.
About the TAS:
The physics of this game are very awkward. The movement controls are clunky and the shooting controls are completely screwed up.
This TAS aims for fastest completion.
Menuing
After the ~15 second Action 52 cutscene and a bit of quick menuing, we can start the game on frame 964.
Level 1
This level mainly consists of following the paths as optimally as possible. AT one point, we have to move down to avoid an enemy, but we had to move down anyway to enter a passage, so this doesn't affect the TAS at all.
Level 2
Once again, we're following the paths as optimally as possible. In this level, we have to avoid three enemies, but again, 8t doesn't matter for optimisation as there's a generous window for path optimisation. Before you ask, I have tried to shoot them to save time, but I haven't had any luck with it.
At frame 3905, we have to shoot an enemy from behind a wall to get past it. At frames 4163 and 4263, we have to shoot two more enemies to avoid slowing down. Input ends when we reach the goal on frame 4437.
Thanks for reading.

I have since improved this TAS by 24 frames - https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638236208319048671
New encode is currently uploading.

nymx: Claiming for judging.

nymx: Replaced movie file with a 24 frame improvement.

nymx: If you haven't already, I would watch the AVGN video on this 52 in 1 game cartridge. It was quite funny.
Thanks for correcting the problems that I found. Because this game is very short, the percentage of missed frames was enough to reject this submission, in regards to being optimal.
Accepting to "Standard" for publication.
LogansGamingRoom yes, i have watched avgn many times before. that's where the quote in my submission text comes from.
