Ball.
In this most technically demanding and complex speedgame, this TAS seeks to accomplish multiple complex objectives:
- Be fast
- ???
- Attain self-actualization (work in progress)
I accomplished several tricky routes where I squeezed through extremely narrow gaps, taking advantage of the game's surprisingly small hitbox, but none of these are "tech" as such, just really precise and basically humanly impossible.
Recording info: I did *NOT* put --no-gui in Ruffle (because I forgor), and adding it in would require editing 4 frames of the recording where I pre-emptively hover over, and then click 2 menu buttons. Nothing really to note, besides that I acquired the SWF file from Flashpoint Archive, although there aren't any other versions that I'm aware of.
Also, I don't actually know the exact time I got, because for some ungodly reason VLC doesn't let me see milliseconds. But I do know that I'm well over 100 seconds faster than the fastest human run up on YouTube (here), which probably fills out the "run must be optimized" requirement. I could get a TON of minor timesave by going back and editing the recording to cut my corners better, but that would take a ton of effort and generally not be trivial, so I'm confident that this recording won't be obsoleted in, like, a day.
