EDIT: I have since beaten this TAS by around 16 seconds thanks to a new technique for early input ending. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638334097577292734
About the Game(s):
Action 52 is an unlicensed game made for the NES and Sega Genesis, featuring - you guessed it - 52 different video games. The NES version was published in 1991, whereas the Genesis version was published in 1993. Both versions were published by Active Enterprises.
Sunday Drive is game 32/52 in the Sega Genesis version of Action 52. You play as the driver of a red car, navigating through 9 levels of busy traffic.
About the TAS:
This TAS aims for fastest completion, which means completing all 9 levels as fast as possible.
Gameplay/Tech:
This is essentially a survival game, so the first 8 levels are very trivial. All we have to do is survive. We don't have to be at the top of the screen or anything.
Level 9 isn't so trivial, because this is where we have to end input as fast as we can. I discovered that when you lose a life in these survival-esque minigames, you'll start exactly where you left off, meaning you can lose a few lives before beating a level. This trick saves around 16 seconds over not losing any lives.
And That's It!
Thanks for reading. If you manage to find an earlier input end, I'll add you as a co-author.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Replacing with an improvement movie.
nymx: Well, this is a break from those 2 players games. :) Now, this is the kind of TAS that has more involvement, for an Action 52 game, and gets better and better as it proceeds towards the end. Ending input earlier than normal was played off nicely, while accepting damage and lose of life...to make a "plus".
Accepting.
