Yes, I did it. It's a WR, but probably not a limit because of how this game glitching ways are. I mean, it may easily contain a game end glitch or something like this. I remember TASing this game back in 2021 for "Any%" WR and my result was over 2 minutes.
Well, "Any%" wasn't too long to script because you skip almost the entire game at the start.

ThunderAxe31: Claiming for judging.
ThunderAxe31: As mentioned by Spikestuff, this movie uses a ROM hack. The problem is that the hack version used in relatively obscure.
I also want to note that this hack applies minor gameplay changes, which isn't a bad thing itself, however through the purpose of fixing the game engine defects, it effectively makes the gameplay itself easier, which kinda cancels the charm of bootlegs being infamously "so bad, it's good". Still, this wouldn't be a issue if this hack was much more widely known and speedran.
Spikestuff also mentioned that a previous submission was rejected for skipping game contents through the built-in level select. The relative rule still applies, making this submission unacceptable as well.
Additionally, I noticed an obvious optimization mistake at the beginning of the second level played: after jumping, you grabbed the fences too soon, which loses the jumping speed. This isn't enough to cause a rejection, but I still wanted to point it out for future reference. Also note that I only tested thoroughly the first two levels.
The hack choice and optimization can be discussed, however in this case skipping levels through a menu select is a no-no. Rejecting for not starting from the beginning of the game.
