:O (Quick compatibility note: I tried converting it to FM2 and playing it in FCEUX 2.1.1, and it desynced right at the start, but then I added 9 blank frames at the beginning and it synced perfectly. Yay!)

I remember Excitebike, Wrecking Crew, Eggerland: Souzouhe no Tabidachi, and Fire 'n' Ice having in-game level editors. Maybe use them to show off lots of glitches that don't show up in the built-in levels? If you want to see a hard Rockman hack TAS'd, I'd say do the hard mode patch of Deus Ex Machina. It gets pretty ridiculous at times... :p

Tengen's version of Ms. Pac-Man is pretty ridiculous on Crazy difficulty with the Pac Booster turned off... Another possibility would be starting the movie from a savestate at the options screen where the starting level is hacked to 33 or above. This causes the game to keep going to level 255, and it still keeps getting harder and harder...then it loops around to 0 and eventually gets back to 32 and ends. Would be funny to see the player survive increasingly impossible-looking levels. :p (At least that's how the NES version works. The SNES version, on the arcade maze set starting at level 33, plays a few more rounds of arcade mazes, then starts cycling through the other maze sets with weird glitched colors, then crashes once you finish them all. Weird. <_<') Or hack the difficulty above Crazy, instead of messing with the starting level. That works with the normal 32 levels, widening the speed gap between Ms. Pac and the ghosts even further then Crazy does...

How 'bout we just use the awesome face, since TAS videos are so awesome? :D We could even combine it with the Megaman helmet: *gets mega buster'd*

...but wasn't the point of the run play with Super Sonic? So, it would make sense having all the 7 emeralds ASAP, we'd have more Super Sonic for all the other stages...
This. I'm pretty sure the time it takes to get Super Sonic can't be made up by using him...might as well either get all the emeralds as soon as they're available (Emerald Hill), or just use the 4126 code and start with him immediately, like Paused said. :p

:O wtf I thought he said savestate support would be impossible at one point... *checks out the site* oh awesome. :D I can see some very good things potentially coming from this. :)

That has got to be the most mellow Gradius music I've ever heard. :)
The funny thing is, it actually kinda fits. It's like...Matrix bullet time with opera music, or something...just an awesome mix. XD Also seconding moozooh's suggestions. BRING ON THE BULLETS

Sonic Jam. Nah, I kid, I kid. Unless you REALLY want a Sonic 1 with spin dash.
I dunno; that may be pretty interesting to see after all, considering what Tails and Knux have already done with said spindash. :p Or maybe a time attack on the Sonic World missions. I wonder how fast that last "collect all 100 rings" one could truly be done...playing unassisted, you usually just barely make it back in time. XD

It's funny how the Monster World series uses all the same locations...Many of the enemies are the same too.
Probably because the Takahashi Meijin no Boukenjima series is a branch that resulted from the first Wonder Boy game... :p

The game counts spending all the coins as part of the 100%. So that means unlocking all the 5-coin signs, and buying all the backgrounds in the blue mushroom house after the game is beaten. Edit: heh, that's some strange luck we're having today. XD

Filled in all 80 (well, 78...) with 7:40 remaining. Not having to type "Man" all the time helped a lot. :p I wonder if it's possible to TAS this quiz somehow...of course, if it's anything at all like the games it asks about, it'd probably be severely broken/glitched. XD

the platform acronym should be "NDS", not just "DS".
By that reasoning, though, GB/SGB/GBC/GBA should be changed to NGB/NSGB/NGBC/NGBA... :p *thinks back to that ridiculous "GB vs. DMG" debate* also this run needs more weegee. GO WEEGEE

Tetris: The Grand Master is actually very well-suited for this. Unfortunately, it's not emulated by anything that can produce a movie file. Actually, last I checked, it wasn't even emulated well in the first place. If MAME has improved its emulation of it, I'll at least see if I can screenshot the result.
DeHackEd had hacked together a TASable version of MAME a while back, and did this with it, but I think it was kinda unstable or something...? Can't remember the reason.

It would also be possible to manipulate the parachute-enemies to not fall all the down and thus not having to use Top Spin at all, if it's faster.
I'd guess not, though, since that would keep them on the screen longer, and MM3 is fairly laggy to begin with...<_<'

Reminds me of the SMB2US glitch where you throw down 2 enemies in quick succession near a wall and they end up flying upwards... :p EDIT: D'OH I forgot was looking at the end of page 8

So I found this guy's YouTube account which has all kinds of Mega Man game glitch videos, and thought this situation was funny. :p Dunno if it would save more time than the setup wastes, though...
