Every flash game is rather short, relatively easy to beat, and usually very glitchy. Doing a flash game as a speedrun is not a good idea to begin with.
These two sentences seem contradictory to me. Flash games are fairly popular. If they really are all 'very glitchy' then it would be interesting to see all of those glitches exploited. And being 'rather short' means it would be difficult to get bored watching them. The Crimson Room glitch shown apparently only works with a certain version of Flash.

VirtuaNES + Wizards and Warriors Video -- the emulator program required to watch all of these videos + a 17 minute 20 second Wizards and Warriors completion. This is my favorite movie. It's fast-paced, fun to watch, and is a clean run (no emulator tricks like save states or slower framerate, just skill and skill alone)

Did you watch Snaily's W&W speed run? It looked good.

getting back into quake and beating the Nightmare run on Arc's site
(Sorry to get off of the topic but.. do you have a specific plan in mind? (and what about TF? e.g. rocket jump courses))

Some things are better: the hurdles and archery. Others are debateable aesthetically. I think that your high jump is worse. I think that another issue is underlying. Look at Castlevania. Bisqwit made 8 time attacks for it and thought of some extremely innovative ideas (inspiring my later Ghosts 'n Goblins videos and in general improving my subsequent time attacks.) Then instead of telling Bisqwit in the Castlevania thread that you discovered that the character can be used as a critical hit on bosses, you said that you would make your own (taking all of his ideas and adding a little). 'Sorry Bisqwit . LOL' Some games should be competed. In others, I believe that you should just assist the original creator if s/he is interested in improving it.

A human player, playing Super Mario Bros 3, who demonstrates the amazing achievement of a theoretically perfect run, which also happens to do amazing actions in the game. Where does that go?
Ok, here is a new example: Evangelion: An anime series by Gainax. It has a red-haired girl. She pilots EVA 02. Xenogears: An RPG by Square. It has a red-haired girl. She pilots Vierge. I then say this: Asuka is a red-haired girl. She pilots EVA 02 and does not pilot Vierge. Where does Asuka go? Do you answer: a) Asuka is a red-haired girl. Both Evangelion and Xenogears have a red-haired girl. So she can be in both. or b) Asuka is a red-haired girl that pilots EVA 02 and does not pilot Vierge. So she must only be in Evangelion.

a video can be all three. There [sic] not mutually exclusive.
Do you have an example? How can a video simultaneously both not be rerecorded and be rerecorded, while trying to perfect the time where the time is fixed?

Heh, well, the secret is to not let the ball get past your paddle. You have to get to level 9. But I've only gotten the ball past the level 9 player one time.

Why are these different than the others? Can anyone with Windows watch them without problems? (I cannot.)

Yes it looked nice. In the avi: The 240 height is sort of odd looking. The video ended at 5:08.

Hello, I have many of the original Nintendo Power magazines. Within these there is the 'NES Achievers' section, which has verified game scores by players. Here are the top times listed for Excitebike (from issues 1-7): Track 1: 50:05 Track 2: 51:64 Track 3: 52:81 Track 4: 59:87 Track 5: 53:39

This was his route: 180 rupies meat blue candle 2 - recorder but no triforce piece secret to everybody 6 - ladder but no triforce piece bracelet arrows 8 (gets the wand) 4 1 5 2 3 7 6 9 It is probably not a very good non-swordless route.

We have seen these games which were originally slightly more than 10 minutes- Super Mario Bros 2 Ghosts n Goblins Rush n Attack -eventually be less than 10 minutes. So I wonder if there is some kind of universal pattern (real or imagined) and if the same thing will happen for this game.
