I would complain that Mario doesn't go straight enough in some places, but I guess that there are some situations in which you can't change your angle very fast.

FCEU has that nice sliding bar under Config-Sound. VBA just has a crummy power of two system.

Hmm, I see what you mean... I always wondered if it was beneficial to attack the bird earlier to release the star earlier, but I figured Spezzafer had tried it and decided it wasn't worth it because you don't end up on the side of the pyramid where you can get it rapidly (plus with the Fly Guy, you end up in that slow spinning fall).
