The SNES has a bigger screen, right? So you can see more.

Well, maybe you should try describing your problem with whichever video you're trying to download or use.

If you want to, you could re-run it on the SNES version...

If you want to know if a hit counts, you can simply continue the battle and see if it diminishes the number of hits it then takes to finish off the enemy.

I mean both of them should be able to play all movies, although some folks were saying otherwise in that one topic...

The original FCEU seems to ignore opposite directions coming from the keyboard (or whatever controller you use) but accepts such inputs from movie files, so a movie file made in one FCEU SHOULD work in the other. Here is a download for now: http://www.geocities.com/ryan_ferneau/fceu.zip I wasn't sure what files came with the executable, so I didn't add any.

Oh, I thought I read that it dropped things onto the controller in response to your gameplay.

Heh, I was just about to suggest the trick described on http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=563444&topic=22515022 for getting closer to Dive Man, but when I tried it, I found out that the boss doesn't drop in until you land, so this probably just slows you down.

I told some Tekken players they couldn't consistently hit a 1-frame window and they believed me, so now I have gone and ruined the world's best Tekken players

Now since the increase in Health Points is based on Vitality, is that the value of Vitality before or after the level-up?

Well, it should say "CAPCOM" rather than "J." on the title screen, then.

Yeah, just today I tried using the L+R+Start button code for centering the stick to cheat up a higher movement speed by pushing it with the stick tilted one way and then tilting the opposite way, but my character didn't seem to move any faster.

I would recommend using Rockman 3 - Dr Wily no Saigo! (J) rather than Rockman 3 - Dr Wily no Saigo! (J) [p1], though.

Even though Napalm Man is quickly killed with Pharoah Shot, I don't think it's faster to start with him because there are 3 parts on the first half of his level where Rush Jet could be useful. Also, since Charge Man might be killed faster with the Mega Buster anyway, this might be the fastest route. The only other place I see where it's useful is in Crystal Man's stage, when you're waiting on the lowering an raising platforms. Oh, and Napalm Bomb looks awesome on Charge Man's level and seems pretty useful against the robot chickens. I don't think this is reason enough to keep the route the same though.
Yeah, Rush Jet is plenty useful in CrystalMan and NapalmMan, so I'm doing ChargeMan first because Napalm Bomb saved more time on StoneMan than Power Stone saved on ChargeMan in my test fights. What's mainly been holding me up these past few days is deciding whether to use Pharaoh Shot for part of the fight against the first Ballade. I think I'll go with the version where I don't use it because I can't seem to get refills in such a way as to not lose the savings.

Here is a picture of what I was talking about in Napalm Man's level. Where it says "jump" is where the trick shown in Nsm's movie (slide jump in Ring Man's Stage) would be used. I'm not sure if you can do it on the first part of the first picture, so I drew up two routes.
That's just what I'm going to do, except in the first part, I can't jump up to the high platform because Rush won't be that high. I'm actually going to go straight across the bottom thanks to a trick I discovered that keeps me from falling in the fire.

I thought it was funny when I read that Gyromite was called "Robot Gyro" on the title screen because Nintendo didn't actually make a North American version of it; they just stuck the Japanese ROM into the cartridge with an adaptor.

Test every jump height! And test both walking and running, too. Possibly try some different combinations of walking, running, and stopping to see how it all works.
