And I've had it up to here with the "cram in a bazillion different characters" theme! I think the blurred Mario looks weird, though, because he's blurred just right where he is, rather than across where he's moving.

What do you mean? It seems totally simple to me. You just record a movie in an emulator, except you load saves and slow down the game to cheat it up.

I think Mupen 64 would go blank on my computer after the screensaver had appeared, but I could get the picture back by changing some setting on the video plugin such as resolution. Try messing with that first.

Can't you also Beak Bomb into the wall above the Freeze Easily Peak entrance to get that puzzle piece too? I thought I read that somewhere, but maybe I just imagined it. Anyway, yes, it's a good idea to try using all your moves to poke through a wall when there's an important item just on the other side.

Did they say whether it was the orange gun or the gray gun? Everybody knows they changed the gun to orange to make it look less realistic.

Check what keys you have mapped to the second controller. You might just be activating the high-jump code by accident by having the same keys push buttons on both controllers.

Yeah, those were good. I wondered about a few things, though. -Was it really fastest to kill those gold frogs with Wonderwing? I guess it would be if you can refill all those gold feathers without wasting time later on... -When you got to the top of all those huts on stilts, you jumped over to the Croctus to put in the egg. Couldn't you have shot straight across from the previous platform to save that jump? (Or wait, did you collect an item in between those platforms? Well, I guess you might be able to turn back in mid-jump if shooting from afar works.) -How much work went into manipulating Tiptup's song? Would it be too unreasonable to try to get adjacent turtles throughout the entire sequences? Could you have gotten the puzzle piece while it was appearing if you had gotten the front turtle to sing last? And you always made sure to hit the last turtle of a song so that you were on the edge closest to the next turtle to sing, right? -I noticed you took off the wading boots just as you got to the puzzle piece button near Mumbo's skull. Does that mean that walking in the boots is faster than running or jumping with Banjo and faster than getting in and out of a Talon Trot for such a short distance? I don't remember if this game is ever like Banjo-Tooie in letting you sneak past harmful water by hugging the wall, but it might be worth a try sometimes.
