Well, it depends on what you define as "the game". I mean, from what I hear, you're technically completing levels that are further in the game than the last level, but not the last level itself...

I beat DrillMan! http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Rockman_World_3_J.vbm I actually redid DustMan, SkullMan, and DiveMan as well to correct some minor mistakes, so you'll only be able to load savestates from before DustMan.

Yeah, I remember that some badges are required to use the HMs on the map, so trading with some other game that has everything already still wouldn't help much in that respect. Even besides that, it seems like a roundabout version of starting a game with everything beaten and just running to the end. What's so impressive about grabbing a high-level fighter from some other game you played?

With whom would you trade? Another empty save file? Although maybe you could have 2 or 3 parallel games going and have some fun collecting different Pokeymon in each.

Maybe a programmer found the bug but the company never leaked it. And maybe they weren't sure it did anything noticeable anyway.
