http://www.twingalaxies.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3258 The official time to beat is 8:42:55 (hours:minutes:seconds). I'm sure Jyzero is up to the task :)

The part I don't understand is that I do exactly what the walkthrough tells me to do and the thing which it says will happen doesn't. Specificaly, I can't get the explosives in level 5.

Yes, I've read that FAQ all the way through. If it would have helped me, I wouldn't be asking the here for help :P I always go to GameFAQs if I get stuck.

I am currently making a movie of this NES game. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out how to beat level 5. I've owned this game for as long as I can remember, but on the actual NES i've only got to level 4, and on the emulator I can only get to level 5. Zurreco has been kind enough to host a save state at the beggining of level 5, and if anyone here can beat this level, I would very much appreciate it if you would let me know how. This is an FCEUltra save state, .fcs, and the ROM used is Time_Lord_(U).nes. http://www.geocities.com/aazurreco/dan-TimeLord.ZIP[/b]

Don't laugh at me because I made a stupid mistake... (my teacher would kill me for that :) ) I can still do this though
lim f(x + Δx) - f(x)
(Δx -> 0)        ----------------
                        Δx
And now back to your regularly scheduled Mario RPG discussion.

I said no because it appeared to me that there were a some minor optimizations that could have happened to make it faster (pauses, not doing things the first frame you could, etc.,). I also think that FCEU would be a better emulator to use for the next version, if there is one.

The computer I'm on right now runs Win 98, and the other comp runs Win XP. However, I still remember the good old days of DOS and the not-as-good days of Win 3.1

Nice job. I like how you're redoing the whole movie for (seemingly) minor improvements.

Are you going to submit this movie? I think you should.

Exellent movie, I enjoyed all half-hour of it. My only gripe is that the shooter-stage is messed up. I don't know if it's just my rom, or the emulator's problem. Anyways, it's a pity that Bisqwit doesn't accept FCE Ultra movies right now.

I intended to remake my movie, and now I want to even more. It's unfortunate that once I got competition, I lost the time needed to make a high-quality movie :(

It's unfortunate, but I must put this project on hold (like it was progressing anyways :P ). School has started and with classes like AP US History and AP Calculus, I need to concentrate a lot more on those than this. I can't say when I"ll continue working on it, but it won't be for a while. If anyone wants to host my WIP, contact me and i'll send it over for all to see.

Playing it in 140ms is kinda booring ;)
Yes, but playing in 500ms is worse, which is what I do for Dracula X.

To me, speed is, but that is only my opinion. The opinion varies by person, so if you are going for a pure-speed time-attack, then don't slow down. If you are going for as-fast-as-possible while still looking cool, then slow down the 1 or 2 frames.

This is good news for a lot of us, Bisqwit! You can now look forward to NES movies from me (If I ever finish Dracula X and other movies I've promised that I will do...)

The new run is very good, I must say. My only question is why do you (Arc) attack whenever you go down screens on the elevator? It seems pointless.

I voted no because my version will be better :P I have just finished level 2, and am currently 464 frames (7.7 seconds) faster than this movie. However, I will be getting the best ending, so we will wait until mine is finished to see which is the better movie I guess.

It also has a pretty cheap boss, Mr. Invisible Shadow Master. I've only beaten him once on the actual NES, and that was with the 9 lives "cheat".
Disregard that statement, I recently played it again and crushed the final boss without the 9 lives "cheat."

I can't read whatever that says because I get this message, "Sorry, you are not permitted to use this board."
