It's kind of annoying that I got banned before I got the chance to post, but I guess it's a good thing because now I won't waste my time on their forums.

Just so you all know, I am (eventually) working on an improved v3 of this run. It is currently in queue behind Dracula X, though, so once I finish that I will resume work on it.

A few things I noticed: On Skullman's level, you are climbing a ladder and don't use a ledge to jump up the ladder faster. I'm almost postive it's faster to jump up the ladder rather than climb, even though Mega Man climbs ladders quite quickly in this game. When fighting Brightman, wouldn't it be faster to jump and then use Toadman's attack at the peak of your jump? That way it has less room to travel to the top of the screen. When falling down screens, it appears as though you aren't as close to the wall as you could be. There are some levels (Brightman, Cossack 2) where you don't use Rush Jet to get yourself as close to the top of the ladder as possible, thus reducing climbing time. I take it there are no places that would justify getting the Wire for. Other than those things, It is a very good run. I especially liked the luck abuse in Cossack 3's boss. Is there a way that you could have hit him in his first 2 passes, rather than having to wait 1 pass? Did you use some heavy luck abuse in Drillman's level to cause all those 1-up's to fall near the end? Because I liked that.

12Motion: My only guess would be Image Fight. I haven't played that game in a while, so I'm not exactly sure about the weapons, but other than that it sounds about right.

It also has a pretty cheap boss, Mr. Invisible Shadow Master. I've only beaten him once on the actual NES, and that was with the 9 lives "cheat".

KQ1 was released for the Master System/Mark III, and this aren't any rerecording emulators out yet for that system. Because I am a classic Sierra fan, tell me which game you found the faster route through. I am curious to know :)

I voted no. There are many things I saw wrong. Jumping is obviously faster than walking. Why not use this a lot more? The Item Crash places you higher than a jump. Why not see if you can use shortcuts from this? (Go through the floor above you, etc.) You can skip a lot of enemies by jumping over them and hitting their right side, thus boosting you a tiny bit also, as seen in the CastleVania IV movie. It would be save a bit of time not having to fight enemies. Why not do this also? If I can muster up the motivation tonight, I will improve on this movie.

King's Quest V was realeased for NES. I have a route mapped out for it until you get to the mountains. I was kinda working on it, but I decided to stop since I was using VirtuaNES instead of Famtasia. If you want to do this, I can type up what I have of my walkthough and send it over.

I've found Megaman 1 to be not nearly as hard as others say. For me, the hardest ones were: Megaman 7 (I dislike Wily and Slashman) Megaman 4 (I dislike Skullman and Ringman)

How about a race to see who can finished Type-B 9-5. It would depend a lot on luck, but at least it would be quick.

My vote goes to Wai Wai World. I've never got very far in that game, so I'd love to see it time-attacked. The only reason I've ever played it was for the CastleVania level :P

I'm working on it, but I want to perfect each game at a time, and right now I'm only on Megaman 1.

No, simply because it doesn't even finish the game. You still have to walk a bit left in order to win. Fix that, and I'll vote yes :P

VBA emulates Gameboy and Gameboy Color too. While I agree on not emulating GBA, it appears VBA is the best emulator out there so adding rerecording to it would be the logical choice, as well as less work (3 systems in 1)

Yes It's a lot better than the one already on the site, and over a minute and a half faster.

I'm working on Version 2 right now, and so far it's 6.4 seconds faster after beating Gutsman.

You could work on Visual Boy Advance instead :P I know I would love to work on Game Boy movies, and I'm sure a lot of other people would too.
