Thanks to the new version, I can continue working on this now. I started over, and I just completed level 1 with a time of 4:34. level 2 - 9:42 level 3 - 13:43 level 4 - 16:46 level 5 - 22:48 level 6 - 28:21

%!@#$%!@#$ I get to the last level, then decided to watch it as I do after every level, and lo and behold, it desychs right away. The movie goes into options, changes the difficulty, and then just sits there. This really makes me angry because it was 22 min 17 sec long. Anybody know a way to fix it, or should I just start over from the beginning?

I just completed Level 3 and my time is 14 min. 33 sec. This game takes a bit longer than I thought it would. I'm playing the PAL version of the ROM, but I haven't noticed any difference yet in speed, and I've played this game quite a few times. If anyone wants to see my almost-halfway done movie, tell me and i'll email it to you ; I don't have any webspace for you to download from.

I am currently working on a movie for this game, I've just finished level 2 and now it's time for bed for me, it's almost 4:30 am :) I'm playing it on Hard Mode, just in case you care. I didn't get hit on level 1, and I took 1 hit on accident and 2 on purpose on level 2. PS - Is there any easy way to tell the length of your movie, or do you have to take out a stopwatch and time it yourself? Just curious.

Since Genesis movies are now a reality (http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=333), I think there should be a new board created dedicated to them, ala the NES and SNES boards. It's up to you, Bisqwit. PS - Sorry if this is on the wrong board, but you can delete it once the new board is created :)

I'll give Rocket Knight Adventures a go. I've beaten this game soooooooo many times its not even funny anymore.

Any word on when the new version of this movie will be released? I can't wait to see Morimoto beat the "perfect" video that's already out there.

That makes sense. I've always used Frost Walrus's skill on Jet Stingray while playing as Zero, I don't know if this gains or loses time (probably loses time). Next time I play through, i'll need to get better at Stingray so I don't have to use that skill, simply because it probably loses a bit of time. In actuality, though, I don't use the air-dash all that often. I've found that the quickest way to move around is to normal dash, and then at the end of your dash do a jump, so you get the distance you need and also retain the speed of your dash.

I don't recall it being a very long game, but I haven't played it in a while. It is kinda hard, but with savestate and rerecord, it wouldn't be too hard.

Hello there, I am Dan_ from the TG boards ; The one who got sub-60 min on this game. I recently recorded a new time after not playing this game for a few weeks, and I got around 58 min. There are many mistakes, such as 1 death on the Colonel, and a botched attempt to get the Heart tank on Split Mushroom's level, but other than that, it's a pretty good run. I am planning on sending it in to SDA sometime soon in case you want to see it. Here is the route I take through it. Magma Dragoon w/ robot suit Cyber Peacock Storm Owl Web Spider Split Mushroom Frost Walrus Jet Stingray Slash Beast I have found this to be the quickest route after a little bit of planning. Oh, and it is all recorded in one runthrough, no rerecording or anything like that. Dan
