So anyone who says they don't like DBZ "hopped on the bandwagon?" I watched the majority of DBZ and can safely say that I agree more with Cherry than with you. However, like you oh-so subtley hinted at BombAHead, this is just my opinion. Just because people form the same opinion as "the bandwagon" has, doesn't mean they didn't take time to arrive at it themselves.

Stay on topic please. I do not particularly care for Dragon Ball Z. kthxbai.

(And I know nothing about SGB speed in VBA. I haven't seen anything that would cause SGB games to emulate at a different speed than GB games but I can't be sure about that.)
Apparently, the SGB emulates the Game Boy too fast. Thus, if VBA were to emulate SGB correctly, then all movie made in SGB mode would be faster than if the same movie were made in a mode other than SGB. When you backflip, you slide for 8 frames at backflip speed, i.e. faster than almost any other mode of transportation. A backflip w/whip cancel erases those 8 frames, and adds 1 more frame where you can't move because Richter has to bring his whip back in before you can do anything. This makes it 1 frame faster than a normal jump. Given the circumstances, it was faster to just jump the majority of the distance, because although it is one frame slower, it gets you a farther distance, meaning less walking. If I were to have backflipped w/whip cancel, I would be one frame ahead, but have more distance to walk. Hopefully that garbled explanation makes sense.

From what I saw, this movie looked good. This game, however, was just as bad as I remembered it :P Keep up the good work; it looks fine by me.

If I were to have backflipped there, then I would be closer to the exit. However, once you have backflipped and slid as far as you can, then you have to wait for 12 frames for Richter to stand up before it changes screens. That extra 12 frames makes regular jumping a bit quicker in that place.

You weren't the only one to point that out, McBAIN. I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. However, I redid from the column room on and managed to gain 37 frames. It appears as though getting 7 too many hearts wasn't the only bad thing I did. Same link as before.

http://www.geocities.com/aazurreco/dan_dracx.zip Thanks to Zurreco for the hosting. Level 3 is now completed. I got the key because I'm going for the best ending, which requires using it twice in level 4 to save Maria and then open the door the level 5b. After that, I can ditch it and get some useful subweapons again. As usual, any improvements would be nice before I move on.

Finally I have a decent run up. It all went pretty well, besides minor errors, up until Dracula. It all fell apart and I died twice, but I was able to kill him the third time using a very slow and safe tactic. Hopefully someone beats this, because it is obviously beatable. I liked Red Hot Chili Peppers a lot when I put this avatar up. I'm too lazy to change it to anything else. Actually...

Presently, my favorite band is Foo Fighters. This is bound to change in a week or two, because I listen to a lot of different musics.

I was thinking of doing either this or Ghosts 'n Goblins. I guess I'll try to work on this game instead. EDIT: PRG0 or PRG1? I'm going to be using PRG0, so I reccomend that's what we use :P

I'm fairly positive Boco never said X was in Mega Man 2.

Should Clever Dan give it another try?
Clever Dan has at least one other project he'd like to finish before starting this up. Rest assured, if Clever Dan does decide to make another Strider movie, he will use the hardest difficulty setting.

Try looking under Turbo CD, my friend. Chi no Rondo wasn't released for the Turbografx-16.

Thumbs down. If we want to know the plot, we'll play the game for ourselves.

I think it should be played on Hard mode and get rid of the missed slashes. Then I will vote yes for it. This was one of my first time attacks. It's good to see that I've come a long way since then. Hopefully none of my movies now are improvable by over a minute :P

Well, if you ask dictionary.com, that means you are a male reproductive organ. Maybe they really don't like you over there.

Look at your username. If you still can't figure it out, it says SSVegetto. If you still can't figure it out, that's from Dragon Ball Z.

I suck at playing Rockman on an emulator with a keyboard. If I had an nes controller to use, I would do a lot better. As it is, I can barely beat Gutsman's stage without dying.

What about the cat that may or may not be dead? It might or might not just be resting.
Schrödinger's cat is the type of pet I would want to have, because there's a 50% chance you wouldn't have to take care of it. However, there's a 50% chance that I would have to feed the pesky thing, and there's also a chance that it will become an undead zombie-cat, which wouldn't be good.

For Commander Keen 1, you only need to play 6 levels to beat the game - Border Town, Pogo Shrine, Treasury, Capital City, Emerald City, Ice City, and the Vorticon Commander's Fortress. Commander Keen 2 requires 10 levels to play, and Commander Keen 3 doesn't have very many levels, but you'll be screwed at the Mangling Machine if you don't have enough shots, unless you practice it like crazy so you don't waste any. In the second one, I was able to find a way to pass through doors in some instances without the keycard. I believe it works in all of the first 3, given the right conditions. I remember a level where you need to have 3 or 4 keys to go through 3 or 4 doors all in a row, but I was able to go through them :)

No death. Dying just seems like the lazy way out. Look at the Dragon Warrior movie - It has a long battle at the end of it, but the parts before it and the skill with which it was handled still made in interesting.
