By passing me a broken file, for example. So I can diagnose it. Along with the headers given by the server would be nice.

I'd like to get more information on this error. It works for me every time I download the file(s) with wget. Any suspicious headers, error messages, ..? File content in wrong format (which format)? Happens on which browser(s)? It may be caused by mod_deflate.

Read Genisto's comments. He has already explained it.

I also like the fact that you demonstrated some of the exotic items, even though it clearly seemed that there was no strategic advantage in doing so.

Effects of the cache. Will change eventually.

It's long, but it's beautiful and well done. The players present the game very well, too. I'm giving it a star. Worthy of becoming a screensaver, that too :)

No... It's just a dinosaur. It's intentionally well hidden, because it causes massive load when it's loaded. (pun not intended) However, now it seems that when I upgraded to PHP 5, the default settings of PHP were installed and that page doesn't cope with the default settings due to big memory requirements.

I haven't watched a single WIP of this movie, so I'm interested to see it when Dehacked gets the AVI ready :)

I wonder if anyone cares, but I've made two AIR-related FCM files. https://files.tasvideos.org/bisqwit/smb1-air-end-no-death.fcm -- this is linked in the movie entry. It demonstrates how to modify Genisto's movie so that Mario doesn't die in the end. The game is completed with Fiery Mario. -- It also demonstrates that after Koopa disappears and reappears, he has became invincible. He still has a hit counter of 256 hits, and when you kill him once, the counter overflows and he dies again when you shoot him 256 times. [ur=https://files.tasvideos.org/bisqwit/smb1-air-bisqwit.fcm]https://files.tasvideos.org/bisqwit/smb1-air-bisqwit.fcm[/url] -- AIR completed with warps. Movie length: 20162 frames (0:05:36.03). 2535 rerecords. Played from start by Bisqwit. Ignores coins. https://files.tasvideos.org/bisqwit/smb1-air-bisqwit-v2.fcm -- AIR completed with warps. Movie length: 19512 frames (0:05:25.20). 3675 rerecords. Played from start by Bisqwit. Ignores coins. -- AIR is a game that messes up SMB1. This is a movie that messes up AIR. I'm completing most of the stages in a way that is completely different than what the hack author intended for. It ends with Big Mario, and doesn't take a Flower in 4-3. -- I didn't want to shrink Mario in 3-1, but 3-2 desyncs if Mario is not small. -- The ID and Password displayed on the page are for the game's homepage. There's a password protected page, where those secrets go. (The secrets can also be discovered by reading the javascript code on that page.) After analyzing this game this much in detail, it seems like this game was designed for coin competitions. The goal of the game (besides successfully completing the game) is to collect as many coins as possible. Genisto did of course very good job with 113 coins. Still, many were missed.

To me it looked like she says "paata peisa". But it doesn't make any more sense than yours.

I already decided to publish this movie, but I think it can be further improved. It looks like some maneuvers with the ... item, cause horizontal and/or vertical acceleration, and that they aren't fully utilized in the optimal way. I guess this isn't the last submission of this game that we'll see.

Don't use notepad. It's a bad editor, severely lacking in features. (And no, I haven't changed anything. I have always used the standard linefeed, not carriagereturn + linefeed, to express new lines in unix files. Which Notepad doesn't cope with.)

The formula used to calculate the confidence is explained in the bottom of the page. It is in MathML, so you need a compatible browser... or try this: http://tasvideos.org/queue.cgi?xml=1

What xebra said. Since xebra's post, I updated the files to more closely imitate what the main page module does.

New submission statuses! 'N=new' 'Q=needs more information' (was: question to author) 'P=next to be published' (was: processing) 'R=decision: rejected' 'O=decision: delayed' 'K=decision: accepted' 'Y=published' (was: accepted) 'C=decision: cancelled' These decisions can be used to indicate what will happen to the movie. "Next to be published" means that some judge has taken it their personal responsibility to make the AVI/MKV of it.

I don't like the style of this advertising. Locking this topic. Also, I reduced your signature to nothingness because it conflicts with our board rules. <Iron rail for dummies> You only registered here in order to advertise your own board which so far has no reputation at all. This discussion board is for the discussions around the Nesvideos site and tool-assisted console games. It is not generally considered polite to join a society only to talk people about some other society. It is analogous to posting an advertisement of supermarket A on the walls of supermarket B. Some people might even consider that spamming. </Iron rail> That being said, I wish luck to your new board, but until I hear of it from some completely unaffiliated source, I'm not going to check it. EDIT: For an example of good advertising, see hopper's message. Although the site is brand new, it has a clear purpose. The purpose is in the center, not the author (compare the thread subjects: you wrote "My board"). And the advertisement was posted in a weather-forecasting tone (introducing the relevant information), not in a hyperactive bold-emphasized hype advertising tone (which, I took liberty to tune down in your message, but is still clearly visible).

In October 2005 - Globally on my webserver, there were 1729773 hits, 14.5 GB of traffic, with average of 2324 hits per hour. 802k hits in the name of MSIE 6, 755k in the name of Mozilla, and 75k hits in the name of Opera. Konqueror has 4k, and Googlebot has 36k. The site was down at days 12-13.

Questions about this eeprom: What kind of data might be on it, and how does an emulator circumvent this problem? Does this mean that the emulation may not be true to the console in some way related to the eeprom?
It's the battery-backed memory. Such as savegames of Final Fantasy.

Mr. megaman: So you call people idiots for no reason and you don't think you should apologize? This is not acceptable. The next time this (or something similar) happens, you'll be banned. Consider yourself warned. /me casts L3 doom at megaman
