My friend notified me, that I should submit these to the WIP on the SNES when he got online, but I don't know where it is, sorry! That's for your help. I'm new here so, I didn't know where to go, I'll be much more careful next time! Ciao :)
So please cancel it then. (Edit submission, change status to Cancelled.)

How about fixing the markup. Read http://tasvideos.org/TextFormattingRules.html for help.

I think Mega Man looks too dark when using this palette.

How to set up a custom palette in FCEU? Also, what kind of display device is this palette designed for? Colours appear different on different monitors, as everyone should know.

I'd appreciate it if someone can make demo SMV files for the items that are still missing a demonstration in http://tasvideos.org/SuperMarioBrosTricks.html . Send them to me for making a GIF of them. Guidelines: Try to make it short, straight to the point, and minimize the amount of moving/animating objects in the scene. Make the SMV savestate-anchored and end it when the point has been demonstrated. (This invitation is also open for Rygar; substitute FCM to SMV, same rules apply)

I repeat, I have no intention of making a mandatory requirement to download the submission file just before voting. I only wish that people vote based on the actual performance in the movie. Not based on whatever expectations they have on the movie prior watching. I may occassionally check the access logs to check something, but that's only if I suspect that something is wrong.

That's why I don't program the forum to check it automatically.

Actually, I just set an experience limit on voting. You need to have been around for a certain amount of time and posted a certain number of posts before voting works. As for checking for downloading the submission file, I've just done it manually in a few cases by observing the behavior in the access logs. As for aaa2's case, his personal ban is explained here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/p/38016#38016

This is interesting. As I understand it, it creates savestates at a regular interval, and for seeking to a precise moment (such as current frame - 1), it loads the nearest savestate before that moment and quietly(?) emulates the required number of frames. Is this right? Edit:
void emu_save_state( int n ); // save to snapshot n
void emu_restore_state( int n ); // restore snapshot n
What is the range of "n" for these functions?

Here I was about to scold you for voting without watching the submission, but there's no poll in this submission. Will be fixed... but please, don't vote anything without watching the subject in question.

The new way of referring to submissions is now:
  • URL: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/<ID>S.html
  • Markup: [<ID>S|link text]
Where <ID> marks the number of the submission. "Markup" refers to the formatting language used when editing the pages. Example of the new markup: "See [64S|Bisqwit's Rockman submission]." Example of new URL: http://tasvideos.org/64S.html --------------------------------------------------------- The old way to refer to submissions in the nesvideos site was:
  • URL: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/queue.cgi?id=<ID>
  • Markup: [=queue.cgi?id=<ID>|link text]
Old markup example: "See [=queue.cgi?id=64|Bisqwit's Rockman submission]." Example of old URL: http://tasvideos.org/queue.cgi?id=64 I believe this change leads to less confusion than the previous did, regarding how to edit pages at least. --------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to do a similar change for the movies, but since the movies are going to be a little more permanent than the submissions, their URLs should be chosen more carefully. "111M.html" won't do. I'm open for ideas in that matter.

Besides that this movie is faster than Tuggummi's movie, how does this differ from it? Are they in different category?

I'm disqualifying this submission because the submitter has registered three (3) usernames (KennyBoy, Xeon, Sneon) for voting in this submission. I'm also deactivating those three usernames.

This movie was stopped at the last jump, instead of at the moment of picking the last brick. Does someone oppose this?

Originally, I said that if Donkey Kong receives reasonably competition, it might be considered. I think it has now received reasonably competition.
