I have tried diasbling sound in my personal playback. There is no desynch. As for the version theory; I am running SNES9x 1.43. Three people tested my movie: Blechy, dan_, and Xeilos. All three reported the same desynch and frame. Xeilos has told me he is using 1.43.
I tried with using Linux with the following choices: - Loading the movie as soon as possible - Loading the movie a few seconds after game reset (required for Gradius 3 and Umihara Kawase) Both desynced near frame 75190 (20:50) I tried also disabling HDMA, but it then it just desynced within first two minutes. You claimed your movie is about 36 minutes long, but the submission manager received a movie that has 57:20 of data (206413 frames). However, it seems to be suffixed with a large amount of zero frames... Anyway, my only solution suggestion for you is that you rerecord the movie starting from 20:30. We can not accept movies that can not be verified. Sorry.

Chose usernames that collided with vital pages such as FrontPage and WhyAndHow and then edited them because the system understood the pages as his homepage. I know IP addresses.

I'm rather amazed how many votes this movie has got. Guess 17 users can't be wrong :) Well, encoding now.

I have written a short compilation of Kid Chameleon tricks and bugs. Even though there is no accepted KC submission at the moment would this be interesting to have as a separate page?
Currently I don't know anything about the game, so I can't say whether it would be interesting. It could be.

When voteing I would like to know your complaints with the movie if you vote no, it only helps me improve my time if you can tell me what I have done wrong. Thanks!
I agree with this statement.

Wrong forum. SNES games is for discussing SNES games - one thread per game. Moving the topic to the correct forum. Also, the next time you should try writing a better subject for your topic - one that actually describes what this discussion is about. Now nobody knows whether they can help you before reading the actual message. (And I'm not sure whether they know even after reading the message.)

I can imagine that it would work with Mario or Sonic, or something like that. But you're saying that they managed to do it in RM2 somehow anyway? Luck, or something other?
Finalfighter explained me yesterday what is involved, but he didn't explicitly say whether it's already done.

Regardless, that's what Morimoto & co are doing. :) They first had to change the order two levels were played, and now they have to fix a mistake done in the first level.

Is there a way of taking the improved first minute and 'pasting' it over the first part of the 10 minute fmv? (sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it)
None other than binary editing the movie file. Even that is risky to desyncs.

Rearranged the forums a bit. Hopefully it was a good idea. :)

I was wondering if the authors of Megaman runs feel the time is proper to make some improvements? (Im mainly refering to Megaman 2 & 3 & 4 and 6). I dont think Megaman1 cant be improved (maybe by a few seconds).
Rockman 1 is being improved by me. I estimate at least 5 seconds of improvement. It is being discussed here. Rockman 2 is being improved - the progress has been going the whole this year. The player, Morimoto, is now travelling and will return next week. This progress is being discussed here and here.

Same way as in SMB1 and SMB2j. Please read previous posts (use Search) - it has been explained many times before.

how to get a forum on my website?
Do a Google search on "phpbb", read and study. If the instruction seems useless, I'm sorry. To write more I'd have to walk your path for you, because I don't remember what to do next. :)

As far as I know - create a quicksave during the playback and then load it.

Edit: Figured it out, thou its not in the FAQ somebody covered it in the forums here.
Can you state the solution explicitly here? So that nobody will have uncertainty over it.

The slowest speed I've used in Famtasia has been 3%. I do it when I have to press many different key combinations within a few consequent frames. (About 4 times in the Rockman movie) Otherwise, I use 5% when I require frame-by-frame precision (manual "autofire") and 5..10 % when I only need to do something at the first/last possible frame.

How so? The first encoding was released 4 hours ago already. The encoding of the newer version which will be better quality (but takes LOTS more time to encode) has been running for 4 hours now and will take another 4 hours (by which time I'm already hopefully sleeping, so it will be until tomorrow).
