So wait, there are 4 different possible times for this now? Someone should just take down the encode at this point so it can get worked out, lol

In Hammerin' Harry: Ghost Building Company for gb, a lot of the sound effects are cut off too early and are much softer than usual, including the 'Let's Get Busy!' at the beginning of each level, the 'ouch' when you die, and whatever sound he makes when you press continue after a game over. This is only true on GBhawk, not Gambatte or, oddly, SubGBhawk. Edit: the same is true of the game's sequel, Daiku no Gen-san - Robot Teikoku no Yabou.

The title of the youtube video and the publication for this inexplicably have a different time than the submission and subtitles. Was the 125 frame improvement not taken into account for the latter two? Not sure if the whole encode needs to be redone or if someone could just edit the title, but I assume it's the former.

[164] NES Déjà Vu by Walker Boh in 11:25.58 and [153] NES Déjà Vu by Walker Boh in 11:45.58 to vault? I'm not quite sure how this page works, they just seemed out of place with no rating and all but one of the later versions being vault.

This is certainly a unique game. The movement seems to lend itself to looking sloppy, and the long transition between rooms is annoying, but it was very technically impressive and you explained well how the run was optimized. I'm a bit split on the entertainment, but great TAS nonetheless!

Guga's channel was deleted. The link on this should be removed so it can be added to the No YouTube list.

Why would it have to be longer? Taking your time isn't dependent on the length of the game.

I didn't vote on the other game, but just from my own perspective, this movie is... incredibly boring. I'm very impressed on a technical level, and I do love it, but 2 minutes of textboxes that I can't even read is about as low as you can go entertainment-wise. I'm sorry, but I guess I'm the first No vote. At least the last 2 seconds were exciting.

Correction: this is for the upcoming 70 Star 0xA TAS. BitFS 0x on N64 has been in development for the last year or so.

I was really hoping that I was missing something there. It's a very cool tas, despite the cheating. Oh well

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, but I don't quite understand what you mean by "the known secret trick to enable a player to move 2x faster, without any encounters on the field." I don't see it mentioned anywhere else in the submission, unless I'm missing something...

There are 'Undo Load State' hotkeys, which seems like a much more efficient solution

Dude, this game only has three worlds. It's a bootleg. Also, it was made by more than one person Edit: Beat to the punch by half a second, lol

Stage 3 is disgusting to work on, and I'm confident it can be improved by at least another 10-15 frames, but here, 12f improvement. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/471852219558526989/638644992763756564/SDK2.bk2

I think you posted the wrong tas. This stops at the end of level 1 for me

Not to be annoying, but should we expect this movie to be published soon? I know encoding has higher standards than it used to, but previous VBWL submissions took a week or less, while it's been close to month for us. I was really hoping to show off the TAS to the Wario Land community soon.
