Is the book written from an objectivish point of view, or does it preach some religion? I might pick it up if its the former.

Did you really have to make two topics? Couldn't you have made one? Anyway, you should have tried going to the irc channel first. I don't have any of those though, so sorry. Edit: Oh, and read the forum description: Planning SNES games. Movie-related talk goes to General. Emulator questions go to Emulator forums.

So we have philosopher among us, eh? If you ever write it, I will be intertested in reading it, or if you ever just write something about it.

Yeah,I doubt this run will ever be made. Using rerecording will not do much, except make precise cursor movements. We would need someone who has played the game a lot to do this run. Looking at an faq will still not make it that great. Someone fell like playing this game for a month? :p

I couldn't agree with more with your second paragraph. I'm pretty much acceptant of all ways of thoughts, religions, etc...(unless it involves killing people or something), as long as they keep it to themself. But when they start preaching to me, thats when I get pissed off.

Its called a hex editor. Edit: Anyway, why are you stopping? Having it only desync after 75% isn't so bad.

Because the majority of people that see these timeattacks can read english, but not japanese. -_-. The only time that I think the japanese verision should be used is when there is no port. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Crap! I forgot about the lion king! I loved that game(when I was 5)! *goes to add this to his already too big backlog of games he means to time attack* Edit: The zero wing game sucks. Anyway, if someone does it, they MUST show the intro.

So, I did go read all of go-girly. There is only one thing that I can say: Crap. Total crap. You don't have a guy write about a girl with girl relationship. It doesn't work. It wasn't funny, I didn't care for the characters, and it was boring (and there was one too many elephant sex scenes). I just didn't like it. Edit: I found out where your avatar comes from nrg. Boo. Edit2: Well, now that I think more about it, perhaps I was a bit harsh on it. I still don't like it though,

Its a codec problem. You'll have to download FFDhow. Don't know the url, but you can google it.

Never heard of GG >_< Probably because I'm not a big fan of fighting games. Which is why I the only one I really like is ssb, because like you said, its not a traditional fighting game.

I just read the front page, but all I see is a bunch of lesbian action. Is this actually and good?

Heh. The only reasons I'm not a nihilist is becase one, I do not think that there is not a god. I just think that there's no way to find out, and I'm not going to live my life on blind faith(not that people who this are wrong) and two, I think I would go crazy thinking like that. :) I try ignoring the fact of whether what I am doing ultimatly has some higher purpose. Instead, I live my life following my own views of good and evil(as flawed as they may be)

Actually Bisqwit has said that he used a hex editor in his rockman movie. Anyway, manipulating luck involves pressing random buttons or killing certain enemies, or delaying a split second, or killing enemies at different times in hopes that the enemies will react differently or drop different items. As to the second, I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying, but we do that as well. While the only sure way to make a movie is to make a computer try every single button combination. But we still try doing things to make the movie different. Sometimes a computer can be used though. For instance, I'm making a super bust-a-move movie for fun. I made a computer progam that would show me what the fastest way to beat a level is. I'm also considering doing this for puyo-puyo, but its much harder to manipulte luck in that game, so I don't know.

I don't know why, but I never really got in Seiken Densetsu 3. I didn't really like the battle system, even though the rest was awesome. And to boco: People die off more in the original sword of mana? o_O I'm playing through the first and already like 1/2 of the major characters have died o_O

Well if you believe that every thing must server a higher purpose to matter, well then yes, most everything is pointless.

Boco :I am not saying that you are wrong, but if you believe in a god and he does not, using it as an argument is not going to make him think any differently. Anyway, you are right that evil and good are not very well defined. It is totally relative, and differs from person to person. But even though your actions may be neither good nor evil, they still leave an impact. A lack of good or evil does not make the world pointless. Just because a concept can not be proven does not make it meaningless. Why does everything have to server some higher purpose? Sorry if that makes no sense. Not much of a philosopher :/
