The nesvideos.info domain was a momentary solution, but because bobwhoops didn't seem to like my decision (it's his domain) and also because it will expire in September and he doesn't have the will to extend it after that, I decided to not give it a "new permanent address" status.
Oh, no, I don't really mind what you do with it. I was just surprised because I didn't know that you could make it point to the forums instead.

Noooooooo...My first obsoleted run :( Very good though. I don't think I'll be able to improve it (yes, I am a sole loser and will try >______>), but we'll see about that. Definate yes vote though. I didn't think it was improvable :/

I think the only thing was that the teleport glitch was removed. Nothing else that would affect the run.

I'm sure if they really cared, language would not be a problem, and shutting down the major torrent groups would not be either. Getting to the IRC ones would be more difficult. Anyways, what I was trying to say is that you're not going to get in trouble for downloading anime.

Well, I think that the reason that computers are not that good at the end game in chess is that even though there are less pieces, there are more spaces for the pieces to move to. Though there will be less total moves that each side can make, there will be more open files and diagnols making for more paths to consider, making the computer less efficient. This concept adds another flaw. Playing to beat a computer is much different from playing to beat a person. Using different techniques on a computer that are clearly not the best move often work because of the way that a program works. But I agree that computers are much better at chess than go and always will be. Amount of pieces remaining on the board is often completly useless in go, so like what Warp says, it is nearly impossible for computers to evaluate positions. In chess, there are some rules to follow that can give a general estimate of position.

Try downloading the files again. There was a problem with the naming of the files, so Bisqwit went and renamed them. If it doesn't work now, wait a bit and then try again.

And also, listing more movies [of the same game / of different games] clutters the list and makes the really impressive movies harder to find.
I don't think that that is a valid argument. Stop accepting the not really impressive movies then. I'd rather have two good metroid runs than one good metroid run and a run for some other game that in only decent.

Also note that it is illegal to download them (although no one cares at all, especially if the show is not liscensed, which ToP is not)

From the pattern, it is likely that the fourth one will come out in May.

Wait a second...You want US to provide the input for your movie? No, that's what you are supposed to do when you make the movie, not us. We can give you suggestions and help, but we won't make it for you (what??? >_>) Seriously though, it was well played, but I don't think that this game will make a very good movie.

Stay at home. That's about it. I might go over to a friend's house. I'm just asking for a go set, and some books.

I once heard, that one of the great composers had once composed a symphony that could be played holding the notebook in either way: normally or upside down. Both had a melody that made sense.
I've heard that Bach wrote one that was the same forwards and backwards, and was a very great piece.

I suggest that you learn to type English properly before making demands.

Though I'm not sure what official policy is, I think that if the only think that hard mode does is gives enemies more life, it's acceptable to use it if previous versions don't. If hard mode makes the game noticibly more interesting, then it should always be used (e.g. more enemies, smarter enemies, less power ups, less life, etc...)

I wasn't serious about being worried about my disk space. Though that pr0n idea sounds good. >_> Or remove the empty bits from the pr0n files :) (yes, I know there are none) Yes, I realize that, but I still don't think it would be that hard. But it doesn't matter. We can settle this (or not) once we find out whether this is even relevent or not.

Yes, I realize that two bytes is two bytes, but I still don't think it should matter. If you are dealing with them bit by bit, how they are grouped should not matter. And I'll take what disk space I can get >_>

They probably are used for something else. Two bytes is just an arbritrary number. If some bits were empty, they would have used less than two bytes. FCM files record more than just key presses. And even if some are empty, I wouldn't mess with them in case they do get implemented one day. Oh, and I don't think it's practical to actuallty edit the key presses. The only think that you should really be doing is cutting and pasting. It'll be way to hard to try and edit stuff like that.

You can always not vote. This shows that though the run is quite promising, there are perhaps a few things they are not satisfied with.
