Of what I have seen in this run so far, I have been quite impressed. Lots of little tricks that an average gamer wouldn't think of. I'll give some more comments when I finish watching (at Boosters Tower right now). Edit: Finished it, and I really enjoyed it. This is actually the first SMRPG run I've watched due to the others intimidating length so older tricks like skipping Mack blew me away. Anyways, the item luck manipulation was also great. 8/9

Clever idea, dropping into second place for a few seconds for the 2 stars.

I have uploaded this run to Youtube, in 2 segments due to my account. If anyone cares to watch it, but haven't felt like downloading either the m64 or the encode here it is. http://youtube.com/watch?v=RC6u-nrMr1k

I used to love this game when i was younger! Weird i know, but anyway, it seemed like a solid run, shame there's so much of just running from one doorway to another Also are you sure that level route is optimal? Just it is the exact opposite of the SDA chameleon twist run. Also: Good job :P 7/8.8
Hmm, interesting I'll go back and make some small changes
He was right, the other two stages proved to be a lot faster(which surprised me). I may have saved around at least 2 and 1/2 minutes, but I still need to check Anyway, once I finish getting help with hex editing and checking several parts that may desynch due to luck manipulation, I'll either update the m64 here or take this down and resubmit.

I've been wanting to see a run of this game. I'll watch the m64 and hope for no desynchs I watch it with my sister. We both found the run exremely entertaining and full or surprises. I personally liked how this run was basically pure action. 8.5/9

Well, thanks to SilentSlayers, look we have made a to kind of "walk" or glide up hills. In a way its similar to supersliding in OoT/MM to get up slopes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrnIldWXo2A :29

Pretty much insane, I loved what you did with the BitSF blj, looks crazy. I, personally, enjoyed seeing all these small, but unique changes, like ZBing to the stairs after warping out of DDD, what you guys did right after thr blj in BitDW, and the BitFS figh just owned IMO. Overall, I was pleased with this entire run, all the camera angles looked good, entertainment value never really went down. Yes vote from me for sure! Oh, and now the "official" frame wars can start ;)

As superjupi said, if a run with only a frame of improvement was accepted, then I think this shoud to. I find it neat that all these small optimizations were found.

Yeah, quite unexpected, but looks pretty decent overal. Some of the camera angles were a bit "different," but it still made a unique watch, though I would have prefered different camera angles. Good job guys.

what I would really like to see is a playaround, because frankly the most entertaining videos of this game I have seen is those of Mario doing random extremely crazy stuff. Grabbing whatever stars you feel like, no restrictions on what glitches to use, and finish it in half an hour.
This might be what your looking for! A strange 16 star TAS I've been working on for a while, not for speed, but for entertainmet. Its in 3 segments due to my account having the upload limit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNdjfjK-CHE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdgIIOfY7qA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0ORpomq_70

Raiscan: did u count the ammount of yoshis left when i hit the red yoshi twice? it's even, going down to kill him is a lot slower also hitting him there makes the last two yoshis come at favorable positions. As for the last polygon , link polygon does a jump or a down + A when entering the screen, waiting for him to land or parrying the Dair is slower than killing him with a quick spike.
If i remember right, the polygons characters that appear can be manipulated, correct?

I think its a shame the run doesnt show all of the game's quirks, but that'd easily be an hour long run going through all the characters in the game (which is an idea actually <_<)
In one of the previous SSB submissions (or perhaps the main thread, doesn't matetr), someone brought up the idea of [A] the game being beaten with 4 "interesting" characters (i.e. where lots of move variety (nonstandard like yoshi?) can be shown) to unlock everyone. Other ideas involved using sram to have all characters. Like, [B] playing around with each character at least once in 2, 3, or 4 player vs matches. Or [C] beating all the BtT and BtP levels. I think any of these 3 game plans, if well executed, has a shot at being published.
I agree with all of those. Regardless of the runs speed, it reminds me of the mk64 run that just went through the special cup to reach the credits. Maybe unlocking all the characters, completing every BtT/BtP, ect could make a much better run, IMO at least.
