DBZ in a nutshell I read the manga, all 42 volumes.. it was entertaining enough for me to finish but it wasn't anything special. I never cared for the anime. There are much better shounen series out there. And of course most shoujo is much, much better.

A G-deck (for GutsStreet) I think is the easiest and best to get.. which you have already said. There is an even worse (and easy to get) combo in the 2nd game, but it was taken out of the English releases... EDIT: If you will ever be fighting with the buster, remember to max power and ignore rapid. A buster shot can be cancelled by moving in any direction, so the best "rapid" isn't firing rapidly, it's fire-move-fire-move etc.

I say that from playing the GBA version.. yes, you need one or possibly two people who can use swords so you can use the Blood Sword later, but I remember getting fed up with weapon levels and de-equipping everyone, then accidentally one-shotting a boss. Generally barehand attacks of equivalent level with weapon attacks around where I have a save to test (= tower of mysidia) are maybe 2x as srong, but before that they went up to 10x... because the barehand attacks are strong independent of weapon strengh, obviously, so they get a lot stronger a lot faster especially if you maintain levels.

I haven't watched your video, but keep in mind two things: 1. Aside from the Blood Sword, your bare hands are probably your strongest weapon ever. 2. Abuse the levelling system. A lot.

As this is essentailly the "easy" version of the PSX/WSC port with added semirandom dungeons I don't see why it should be preferred over the NES version.

So my monitor broke. Then I decided to do a run on my laptop. No game overs, but I ended around 40 minutes (I wasn't recording so I don't know the real time). I am not really that good at these games even though I love them.

There is a hack like this for 5, which also adds a "high score" table for each level and lets you select any level.

Boco told me that in Mega Man 2 the reason why X teleports offscreen every time you pause and switch weapons is because every different weapon version is a different version of X.
...?

OFF TOPIC: I want to do the same with Final Fantasy. Remaining ones:
FF MSX, FF2 MSX, FF Wonderswan, FF2 Wonderswan, FF4 Wonderswan, FF1+2, FFEZ, FF2 FOMA, 1-2 PSX, 4-6 PSX, FF7: BC/CC/DC, and of course this is by no means an exhaustive list of obscure titles and only includes titles with "Final Fantasy" in the name. In other words, I am again challenging your claim.

I will if I ever figure out how to beat the Yellow Devil without cheating. I've only been able to do it once or twice ever.

I usually play in reverse weakness order starting from Cutman, but that's slow (reverse-weakness order XD) and it also puts off the Gutsman rails from hell until, well, not first. So I think Gutsman->Cutman->Elecman->Iceman->Fireman->Bombman would be my order for this kind of thing. Maybe I'll do a run tonight if I have time.

Well, both. You seem to be describing determinism, so the answers to your questions should be found in deterministic philosophies. I'm most definitely not a determinist so I can't help you.

yeah... i think the song on the OSTs like 20+ minutes and its FILLED with crap (i remember well because my PSX crapped out during these credits and i had to redo that final "battle") from all the characters lives (which might not be so bad if you do a minimal party thing).
The full song plays regardless of who you have in the party. But depending on the party you see different scenes for some people.. for others, if someone's missing you just see a portrait of em and eir hometown.

Also, the monsters you fight are in a fixed sequence depending on where in the table you are and where the battle happens, but the table's reset every (hard but not soft) reset. ..but seriously. Is it possible to manipulate meat/skills? If not it's simple to declare it a 4-robot game and go from thee. If so you probably need to work out when you can get certain skills and transformations and all to see how many Monsters (I can't see mroe than one really), Mutants (again, more than 1 is probably too many) and Robots you'll need.. Humans would be pretty useless.

Can meat drops / skill gains be manipulated? If so it might be useful to tow along a Mutant to skip a large part of the game once you get to the dragon races. But if no skills can be manipulated it's probably best to use Monsters and Robots only.

No, because there's a menu from which you can force disasters. Have you ever actually played this game?

Of course stacking takes forever. No-one said it didn't. You can set fire to a building easiest by crashing a plane into it.
