I once asked if this could support flash games. If I TASed an .exe that played .swf files (I'm not sure I know one), wouldn't it work and be considered valid? Has anyone played around with this? I could do a wicked TAS of Give up, Robot (2).

then why don't you make one?
we are busy either doing other games, making encodes, maintaining the site, coding emulators ect... we arent looking for quantity, or you would see already a run for every game made, we look for quality
You are saying never post again if I don't use frame advance? I am against it. Some people like cheese on their burger some people don't. Some people like frame advance other don't.
Then don't post on a cheeseburger forum.

Let me know if you give up / get distracted with this, nitrogenesis...you said yourself that I have "huge balls" for encoding runs that are multiple hours long.

I eliminated my last TODO. Every modification to a movie's files will result in a recache of the YouTube stream's data. The cronjob is more efficient, but still isn't in crontab (That's adelikat's decision to make). All current files have been recached. The uploaded time is displayed on the tables. If anyone has more suggestions, please let me know, but I think I'm just about done with this. :)

No, I'm serious. This for some reason deeply bothered me, and I've decapitated multiple fish this week.

Thank you very much Mukki :) Screenshot I like (optimized) Archive Torrent Description: Hammerin' Harry is a pretty simple platformer. Armed with a big hammer, you make your way through 5 levels, and the first 3 levels have bonus levels as well. At the end of each level there is a boss, and in some levels, there are also mini-bosses. In short, this game is a "normal" platformer, you won't have a hard time figuring out what's going on. [user:NitroGenesis] improves on the previous movie by 5.72 seconds thanks to more optimized jumps and faster bossfights. For more info, we recommend reading the [3189S|submission text.]
Well, you made this really easy for me. I'll do this very shortly.

Yeah, I fixed this. Thanks. Edit: Reformatted the list of Uploaders. Also, I split up the lists onto three pages.

Baby Moses was comical, absurd, fun, and had a lot of crazy glitches along the way. This is just overly violent and disturbing. The background sound effects are ear grating, the graphics are crude, and I am not entertained nor impressed by the run's technical ability. This has offended every applicable sense of mine, and I am worse off for having watched it. Voting no for the first time ever.

Before anyone says anything, I used this screenshot on the directive of FractalFusion, just as I published now instead of including the strategy in the description. This will be modified eventually. Please continue to discuss your favorite screenshot.

Well, I was going to let the subtitle placement slide, but I'm already encoding an obsoleted version of this run, and I have the perfect settings for the placement, so I'll be re-encoding this. Edit: I'm doing the HD. I can't get the SD to work properly, and I don't care about SD nearly enough to figure out why.

My vote is still this: Sure, there are other screenshots that sample "tas", but I don't think any of them fit as well as this. That said, I will cave under popular demand. Please, let's try to find some consensus before I begin the publication process.

This game was made with Mark Overmars' / YoYo Games' Game Maker? I've been having trouble using Hourglass with Game Maker games. What OS are you running it on?

Hello! I am pleased to announce I have completed my Uploaders List, along with help from Ilari, and it has been integrated into the main site with help from adelikat and Grunt. Currently, it only supports YouTube, but it has the potential for use with other sites. It has several exciting features:
  • A leaderboard showing who has the most uploads.
  • Lists of uploads for each uploader, along with the movies they are associated with.
  • The ability to embed the above lists on any editable page via module.
This was done for several reasons, but the most important ones are to encourage contributions, and to help isolate sub par encodes. We know for a fact that all of Webnations runs are SD, that the runs that Nahoc has uploaded that have not been renamed are SD, and that probably most of the uploads from uploaders with limited contributions are SD. Although I'd much rather people work on NoYoutube, it would be helpful to also attack the current runs on these lists. TODO: Nothing right now... All feedback welcome. Please spread this link, and edit it into every relevant page. Enjoy!
