This is actually really nice. The only complaint I can make (Which I've fixed), is that you named your 512kb "invasionofthezombiemosters-tas-nitrogenesis_512kb.mp4" instead of "invasionofthezombiemonsters-tas-nitrogenesis.mp4". It's gotta be exact for it to work. Also, you need to provide a torrent for the SD using the uploaded one as a web seed, but I'm sure you just forgot about that. If you provide that via MediaFire as well as a preferred screenshot (Which I know you know how to optimize), I can begin publishing.

I'll publish once nitrogenesis gives me adequate encodes. The one he posted is not; it completely covers the bar containing the scores and time, and he could easily avoid doing that without covering the player.

Dear BrandonE, that avatar is very ugly to me, but you say it is from some album. What is the band and album? would I like their music?
It is King Crimson's "In the Court of the Crimson King." I'd give them a shot, though understand that all of their albums are radically different from one another, so it'd be hard to judge them off of just one of them.

OK, claiming HD / SD / 512kb. Sorry nitrogenesis, but we can't wait for you if you overextend yourself. Edit: Yup. Nitrogenesis said he was going to give me the links before he left to an appointment, but he didn't. I'm re-encoding this no matter what.

Nice goals. Any reason you don't just go for the Flippers first? With the Flippers, you can get pretty much everything.

I uploaded the HD to my account this morning, 512 kb will be muxed tonight.
Please, whenever you have ANY of the parts available, post them here. If you have an HD, and SD, and a torrent, I can publish. 512kb's are great, but they certainly don't need to be online at the time of publishing.

OK, look, it's been over a week since you claimed the encodes for a movie less than 30 minutes long. I need to know all of the following:
  • Did you dump the movie?
  • Did you encode the movie?
  • Are you currently uploading the movie?
  • When would the upload would be done?
Without answers to these, I'm going to have to add this to my queue. I make a point of publishing nearly the instant after a movie gets judged, and I won't let this stay in the queue forever, especially before April Fools when my queue will be enormous. Please update your status on this run. Optimized Screenshot:

Well, I guess I'm restarting this again...I mean, I knew my current progress wasn't optimal, but I didn't think it was THIS bad. You did a lot of things I would have never thought of, and although there are parts that I think could have been done better on your end as well, you have produced a superior run, and I have to beat you on every level to make this TAS worthwhile.

Brandon, If you check this page more closely, you can see that both US and Japan Courses are done. Only one left is UK (That's what I meant with that 2/3). And to be honest, Japan is the most difficult one, for me at least. I think that Tournament mode won't add any value to this "run", since there is nothing different except the prize shots where you can earn some money. And like you know, they are not that hard to optimize :P If you still want to do the run, I would suggest that you do UK the same way as Rising Tempest did his part. I definitely would like to see complete playaround :)
The only reason I thought Tournament Mode would be better is because it has a clearer goal. That said, if people have already completed US and Japan without it, I could do UK in the same manner, merge the files together, and create a run out of it. Sounds like a good idea?

Yeah, this would prove to be an incredibly boring game, especially to TAS, so I'm cancelling this. Here is my progress in case someone wants to continue it (Or someone just wants to play the game from the first round with absurd stats).

The remaining two movies are being stubborn. I'll E-Mail an admin. Edit: He said to just wait; they'll move eventually.

There is a topic from this game already and 2/3 courses done... http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3270&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Isn't it safe to say this project is no longer active? Furthermore, if so, should I pick up where this person left off, or would that be looked down upon? I could try to contact the person about it, but I don't know how successful I'd be. Edit: It looks like he has all of the holes in the U.S 18H course done...not sure what the 2/3 means. That said, in order for this to be a TAS, I feel like it has to be done in Tournament mode, which for some reason isn't done here. I could probably attempt to use this video to make a .fc2 in tournament mode for the U.S 18H course, but that probably wouldn't be too impressive considering I'd essentially be copying and pasting. Maybe I could do a different course? Which one is considered to have the highest difficulty?

Although Golf is perhaps the opposite of a speed oriented game, my father requested that I try to make a run of NES Open Tournament where I golf a perfect game. Would this be a good idea, or would this yield a boring run? By the way, unlike before, this topic doesn't mean I'm cancelling my current run, as Arcade's Revenge is going fairly well so far. I'm just interested in this as a possible side project is all. P.S. 100th post!

Quite honestly, I'm not sure if people without admin access can even categorize their movies. They certainly can't move their collections.

I'd like to keep you all updated on my progress, but I can't dump and upload for every bit of progress I make. As such, here is my current .smv file. In this revision, I have gotten up to Shocker in Spider-Man's first main stage and defeated him without breaking a sweat. In this level, I constantly use the "Takes damage to save time" goal, often getting hit to propel me forward / avoid fighting. Although it's much more difficult, the second level is much more entertaining. Let me know what you think!
