What are the objectives here? Taking damage? Abusing glitches?
Well, my goal is obviously the fastest time and I use any means possible, such as death and damage to achieve that goal.

I'm not sure where you actually ever went, so could you enlighten me a bit?

I couldn't find a topic for this game with the search function, so I decided to create one. Anyways, I've been working on this game for a while (I started it before the latest run was submitted) and now I'm finally done with the second level and I'm currently 401 frames ahead. 45 frames in the first level, which come from optimizations and 356 frames in the second level, which come from optimizations and better strategies. Overall I think the latest run is improvable by, lets say 30 seconds or more, not sure about it, but at least 30 seconds, because of better routes and some short cuts here and there. And here's the WIP. Enjoy and please comment on it. EDIT: Also, Nemo is one extremely violent little boy. First he drugs the animals with sedatives of some kind and then rips their intestines out and wears their skin, or forces them to carry him on their back. Well, it's not easy when you got so annoying parents.

I think the biggest flaw in the 100 CD run is the constant stopping to get some buried CDs. It kills the mood pretty well :/

Did you read that log JXQ posted? You never answered his question nor mine nor the one which Kyrsimys asked. EDIT: Okay, mine wasn't grammatically a question, but that's not the point.

First you need to define "pride movie".

Comicalflop, I guess you have misunderstood me. I asked if it really matters if it's published as concept demo. What's so different about it then? It's still published. And I think this game deserves a good play-around-run, like wazkatango said. I stated it when you submitted your run and I think I've stated it even before that. Also, this game isn't suited for speed running. EDIT: It seems I'm just repeating upthorn's words here.

I think September 2006 was the time when Bisqwit republished those antique movies.

Randil, it is actually correct. The rule goes like this: (a^m)^n = a^mn = (a^n)^m

A problem I can give you is: What is the percentage that 3 out of these 7 children are male/female? Think about that for a while ;)
Unfortunately I don't have time for that, still loads of homework to do and so little time.

Here's a probability exercise I can't solve. It's supposed to be kinda easy, but I just can't think of the right way to solve it. Here goes: Of all born children, 51.2% are male. What's the percentage for those families that have 7 children and all of those children are a) male b) female Any help would be appreciated.

game keys can be configured without recompilation, you know. there's a hidden folder in your home directory with such configuration files.
Game keys can be configured with some front ends too, but not hot keys such as frame advance and so forth.

Your best bet is probably to use wine, it works ok.
It crashed when I tried to open a ROM. And if coding it difficult, writing a guide how to do it yourself would be enough.

There doesn't seem to be any easy-to-use Linux versions of FCEU nor a proper guide how to build one from the source code (It seems that people assume all Linux users are coders of some sort). Therefor I'm looking for people who are willing to help others like me, who are in a need of an easy-to-use Linux FCEU. Easy-to-use version would include: Customizable controller layout and hot keys: Now they are hard coded and require modifying the source. It's not very user friendly. Well, can't think of any other features for now. If someone else has a feature request please post it here. And if building an emulator like that is not possible, a proper guide how to modify the source and how to compile the emulator would be enough.
