I think AKA needs to pay JXQ some money.

What do you mean by that?
"Creating a new community" thing. Somehow, it reminds me of Nate.

If the sole purpose of this site is for so-called "entertaining" movies, my hope is that in the near future, someone will create another TAS community in which objective, easily-measurable standards such as time and score are regarded as highest priority, and "entertainment" comes second, not as a fundamental requirement for a run to be published. I am sure that there are at least a few others here who share this same sentiment.

Although I really would like to give SSBM a try since the mechanics and AI are greatly more advance and would take many more re-records to do.
Good luck trying to find a good GC emulator with rerecording.

on a side note, I know linking to roms is against the rules, but would I be allowed to say the name of a site that I know has such a rom?
No.

But why is a SNES game discussed in the off topic section? This thread is clearly for PC Doom.

An example of a good run of a bad game. Just boring as hell.
The run is BAD. It's been beaten by an unassisted speedrun.

Upload your movie file somewhere and post the link to the right thread (Do not create a new thread if one already exists) with appropriate explanation.

I doubt it will make an interesting or entertaining run. The game is just boring.

I started working on this one. Here's my WIP. I might need to redo it though, if you think it's necessary to get to the Prize World. Some comments would be nice. :)

TASing has taken away my ability to play around with some platformers. Nowdays I just try to beat them as fast as I can (DKC and Mega Man 2 for example) which usually makes me game over a lot faster than usual.

I'm very interested in doing this, I just have to get a working emulator first.

Please use Microstorage for uploading movie files. It's MUCH nicer, faster and easier for everyone :)

Miau made a macro editor for FCEU. Adelikat says it's extremely useful.

There is no need to create new topics if one already exists. But this sounds cool.

I'd say, remove the technical rating option. If you don't know the game well you can't say if it's optimal or not. It's very hard to rate movies because of this.

I don't think it's a good idea to post AVIs on Youtube. Just because people don't read the descriptions and get the wrong picture about TASing. But that's just my opinion.
