Triforce??? You talking a wrong game xD In Wind Waker, there are triforce charts :p
Yes, they were talking about Wind Waker, not Majora's Mask.

I'll vote no too, game isn't really impressing at all, but your run seemed pretty decent.

Just to point out what Arne said on the IRC and on the forums. This run is obsolete already. Arne has noticed many places where it could be improved, most notably one boss fight (dunno which, if you're done with more than one).

Yeah, there's lag in the first part of the ug-area, that's what I was talking about. When jumping over the spike-pit.

I don't have Gens and I don't even want it, but if your run can be improved in a title screen (by being frame perfect) it's obsolete. And because there isn't a run of Shinobi III yet, doesn't mean your can be sloppy. I don't want to offend you, but I doubt it's not even close to perfect.
well I'm very surprised about this frame-perfect thing ! O_o
What's so suprising in it? We aim to be as fast as possible, that means frame perfect.

Well I have finally made a complete run of Shinobi III with the tool-assisted stuff of the emu by playing all through the game at a speed of 50% for 47 re-records !
That already makes the TAS obsolete. We use frame advance and thousands of rerecords to make things as accurate as possible. Take this as constructive criticism and redo your whole runs using frame advance and loads of rerecords to shave off every frame possible.

It looks good, only think that seemed improvable was lag reduction. Could you have killed those "bats" at the end of your WIP to reduce lag?

Use frame advance to see what button is pressed on what frame. Remember to put input display on.

Just to point about rerecording. You can continue your recording later and keep the undo count by opening the movie file you were making and loading a savestate while it's playing (be sure that read-only is off).

windy well is not an auto scroller , he has to wait for the wind to go down or whatever.
Castle Crush is, and I was talking about it when stopping to get the barrel and the other monkey. And I knew how many monkeys Sami had in Castle Crush...

And you're obivously a bit slow guy (mentally) because you don't realise that when getting the other monkey, everything other than the chimp coming out of the barrel, stops. I don't recall now if Windy Well is a level with the parrot, if it's not, when taking damage everything stops again. It takes time, so it might not save time.

Yes, he's waiting because the level is an autoscroller. Getting the barrel stops the scrolling so it makes the level slower. But this is kinda unnecessary conversation because Arne found a way to skip the whole level, as far as I know. EDIT: I want to see the IRC logs ;)

Does he have both Diddy and the other chimp? You realise that the level stops scrolling when other monkey comes from the barrel? And it also takes time to take damage.

So he has both monkeys when he gets the barrel?
