Very hectic run, but entertaining one. Voting YES! One question: After you've destroyed the final boss, do you have to move around or does the game go to ending screen automaticly?

Shouldn't this discussion be moved to Contra topic?

Some may thing I'm weird but I only listen to Queen. Their music is so variable that I don't have to listen to anything else. Sometimes I listen to radio though and some game/anime music but that happens so rarely.

the delay has nothing to do with the quality, but watching Nitsuja's run first certainly does
So how were you doing when compared to Nitsuja's run? In other words, $repeat_Baxter's_question.
Nitsuja was about 20-30 seconds faster.

3 frames?
Guybrush submitted a 3-frame improvement, so Vatchern responded by submitting this 6-frame improvement.
And I improved it by 1 frame, but I've overwritten it and can't reproduce it.

I did. And nitsuja even gave me tips.

Okay, it seems that it's faster to use C in some places. I redid the beginning of the first level and it's bit faster than nitsuja's test run. I found a fast way to get past that last spikeball: Take damage at the second one. Here's my short WIP.

Thanks nitsuja! I have never played the game, so I don't know much about it. All tips are helpful ;) But for the weapons: I think N-weapon is the best weapon around. I don't know if every shot does damage (it seems it does though), but it fires two rows of normal bullets rapidly which makes it deadly. I'll redo the first level and see what I can do.

Here's my WIP. It's very short but gives a fine picture of the game. Can someone come up with a faster way through those spike balls or find any other ways to improve this? EDIT: If anyone is willing to be a boss fighter for me I'd be really grateful. I'm not good at boss fights.

you can save time when you break away the wall from the cannon by breaking the wall and landing right on the star.
FODA has already found many ways to get those stars faster. Here's the topic, take a look at there ;)

I watch anime and read manga and comics. Like Bisqwit, I enjoy swimming. I also start studying Japanese. And of course I go to school.
