That boss fight sounds like the Clawgrip fight in SMB2. Perhaps, as in that game, the boss could be defeated by bouncing one rock repeatedly off the boss' head?

Perhaps light-speed is not the fastest possible speed, it's just very slightly lower, by an almost undetectable margin. So photons have an amazingly small mass, which even moving at c is not very noticeable. Or maybe photons don't exist.

I'd like to see it. @AKA and Silentslayers: I can see there is some improvement, but how much of an improvement is it?

As far as I know, you cannot beat the boss with Obelix.
Don't you mean Asterix? What attribute does he lack that means he cannot win the boss fight?

That was awesome. At 1-4 (in the second movie in the series), I would have strangled Toad after being told the Princess was in another castle.

I presume, from your route, that Obelix is slower but more damage-dealing? Is level 4 nothing but the boss fight or is there other stuff too? If there is, it might make Asterix still worth using.

4-3 seemed unoptimal, but now I know why, and there was a slow part near the end of 2-3 which doesn't matter anyway because you have to wait for the bird's head to open.

Well, has anyone actually watched the WIP? I am getting a bit discouraged by the lack of posting.

I'm feeling really insignificant here. There has only been one vote for this movie, and my other has had no votes. I'm making speedruns at a frenzied rate, but no one even bothers to vote. Some people have given insightful comments, but then they just don't vote. So please, people, watch my movies and vote for them. I have a feeling that I could speedrun Super Mario Bros. in 4:55, and no one would even bother to watch. If no one even pays attention to me, I'll just stop making these TASes.
People rarely pay attention to someone's first movie. Patience. I'll try to watch the WIP tonight. EDIT: The level was more entertaining than I expected it would be, and I would vote yes if the entire movie had a similar pace. However, the initial level selection seemed very unoptimal. I think you did not press the A button nearly as soon as you could have to enter the level. Also, I must ask, are you sure all the jumping and punching was done optimally?

"The Halifax Celine Dion concert was cancelled. 'Oh no, whatever shall we do?' cried no one". - This hour has 22 minutes.

Today it hit -15 degrees (0 fahrenheit) and people were wearing shirts here. I recall a few years back when, during a somewhat harsh winter (but not spectacularly so) school was regularly cancelled. The school buses ran on diesel fuel, which froze in the winter temperatures. A couple years back there was an official warning not to go outside without eye protection, as the surface of the eyeball could freeze if one faced the wind for a couple minutes. I believe the lowest temperature I've ever experienced was in the NWT, when it hit -55. We threw a pot of boiling water off the porch, and it froze before hitting the ground. I recall a sign near a frozen lake that was also used as a road. Because trucks sometimes cracked the ice, there was a weight limit for vehicles. That day the sign said:

Again: I've seen all this happen.

Most of my Canada-mockage would be insulting of the Canadian Prime Minister, who has managed to piss off the leaders of Russia and China while continually acting as George Bush's sock puppet. Fortunately, he only has a minority government, making it difficult to pass the most right-wing laws. There's some funny stuff on YTMND mocking Harper. Oh, and David Emerson sucks too. Within days of being elected as the Liberal MP for Vancouver Kingsway, on a platform of becoming "Stephen Harper's worst nightmare", he crossed the floor (defected) to the Conservatives, Harper's party!

Actually, "tweaking" is more or less what is done in the caesium gas experiment, which sends the front of a light wave faster than light. The wave of light lengthens as it travels, sending it faster than light. Or at least, that's my understanding. Wikipedia has some info.

I tossed in a quick yes vote for improvement, however, note that I do not consider this optimal. I did note a spot or two where it was improvable by a frame or so, but the glaring error was the one pointed out by Tmont. At 6:02 in the [urlhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=ksNkFdMgogU&mode=related&search=]Youtube video[/url] of the SDA run, you can see the trick used. I'm going to produce a short video fairly soon that shows the worth of the trick.

Yes, and I'm wondering if there is some sort of feature I should turn on to make it work.

OK, a better way to phrase that would be, "I'm making a lot of runs at the moment, but you could work on it if you like."

Yes, I have checked several kinds of block, none of which work. So, please stop questioning my methods inanely, and somebody tell me what I should do!

Weak meh vote because the character moved slowly, the graphics did not amaze me, and the attacks were bland. However, nothing overtly sucked and I stayed somewhat amused, so it doesn't get a no vote.

If the game lags badly, 2 players might not be worth the better boss fights. However, if it's possible to kill off 1 of the 2 players quickly and without penalty, that could reduce lag.

Controllers aren't a good idea for N64 games, because they're not very precise with the joystick. However, for SNES it should be find.

Well, what's stopping you from making a run? You can download FCEU at the home page's downloads section.

No, because I clearly said that probably only 1 kind of block would work. Why did you mix some French into your post?
