I've been poking around Pilotwings a little, as a big fan of flight sim games... However, it's not too much my style. I might TAS a DOS World War 1 game like Red Baron if I get DOSbox to work, or I might just do pilotwings. Post 600!

OK. Here's a thought for fast movement speed: Jump leaning way to one side, so you fall forward, then lean the other way to fall forward some more.

I have a sneaking suspicion Machoke would have been slower, given that the gym is psychic... Better check again. Still, the elite four should be quite a bit quicker. I like the though of a big RPG run with a significantly different route, but is not very different timewise.

I rather liked it. The bonus stages were tolerable, in fact the 2nd one was very funny.

For a 120-star run: Is it possible to do a triple jump, then a wall jump for the star "Mysterious Mountainside" in TTM?

There's a minor glitch, might be useable somewhere. If you hanging on to a pole as you collect a star, you zip downwards very fast when you collect the star. Might be useful for 100 coin stars, IDK...

Sorry, you're wrong. It is in fact faster to fight the trainer with Rattata and Nidoran, then backtrack to the outskirts of Pewter, and then advance again. Here's an unoptimized test run, which is at least 2.5 seconds faster despite the fact that Charmander takes a hit from Nidoran. Rattata can be OHKO'd with Ember, but Nidoran has health of 1E and max damage with Ember is just 1C.

I made a test run in about 2 hours, however, there's a problem. It seems Black Boo cannot be beaten in 1-2, and I'm hesitant to continue. Does anyone know some secret method of beating black boo? You have to activate left+right for it to work. Here it is

Some people have said it's a hack of Bonk's Revenge. There is vague similarity, but I'm not sure... If it is, it might be better to run Bonk's Revenge instead of this. Here's a screenshot:

The main question for luck-manipulation is if the TI83 uses user input or something else for RNG... I have a blackjack game on my calculator. Manipulate for 21, stay, you win.

Interesting, well played, entertaining. Good job. What runs do you plan to make now?

I'm having trouble figuring out Basicbot. Mostly, just the part for "goal". The instructions that come with FCEU 0.98.16 are not very clear on this point. I wrote a program that plays the final boss fight in RCR for 500 frames. I put the goal for "maximize" as -04C2 (The negative of the boss health bite) and the tiebreaker 1 as -04BD (The negative of the boss willpower bite). However, the best movie (Out of 20,000 simulations) did no damage at all to the boss. What should I be setting the goal as?

NO! You were definitely saying it in a third person, not second person, context.

I vote yes, mainly for the bouncing off enemies in big comboes.

Another option is to find a list of the 50 best defensive plays ever and do a game with all 50, plus a strikeout. Then end it with a homerun. EDIT: No, wait. It would be faster to have the strikeout at the end, and manipulate, then end the movie at the last pitch. Then have 4 walks in the next inning.

I oppose you. I'll post a video that just does the first level of SMB3, running left through a wall.
Hmm... I've been having trouble doing the "fall through a corner" trick, going left or right. Any tips?

I've been recording funny quotes on the back 2 pages of my yearbook. Rridgway has a page reserved for him. Here are some of the best: "Damn those Spainians!" - Gina "The rabbits are breeding like aphids" - Locke "You're wasting my ear capacity" - Austin And now, the Rridgway quotes: "HSE - Human Cow Disease" "Communismistism is bad" "8 plus 13 is not 21" "Newborn penguins are in their birthday SUIT" "Heehee. Mud spelled backwards is Dum" "If you make an anagram of Meng, it's almost Megan" And, my personal favourite: "To laugh at your home country, you have to be Scottish". A bit of context. Rridgway is Scottish, and I was lightheartedly joking about Scotland, and he meant to say "To laugh at my home country" but...

My friend owns this game. I played, and I was a mentally retarded Tanzanian orphan woman with no immune system. I died at age 14 from cancer after my 13th bout of malaria and 11th case of hookworm. He played, and he was the genius son of a chinese billionaire, who died at the ripe old age of 97. I know he cheated somehow, I just haven't figured out how...

I write the submission text on Word as I go along. I hate to see submission texts that say, "Something or other is improvable here, but I forget what..."
