I myself relly soley on armpumping for speed. Sure it makes me look like an idiot and sure it makes people want to beat me up but that matters not since they will never catch me with my 1 px/frame advantage.

Impressive run, some of the new warps where really unexpected and entertaining. The fact that it still is no more than ~10 seconds faster compared to the old warp run makes me think that hardmode may save time though.
Easy yes vote.

Would you really need to do what? Besides not really that I think your taco (the theory looks good on the surface but if you dig deeper it seems unlikely) but a IP check would not really bring any answers if done correctly (unless it could show your country and it was completely different)

Also you know you're a even even worse poster when you in fact did post that cut-and-paste mess in your thread as a link but later decided to post it in a thread where it does not fit but as a cut-and-past mess instead of the link and in doing so made several people poke fun at you.

Gotta say that the quote in your sign when taken out of context like that is quite offensive towards Saturn, if someone sees that instead of the original message they might get weird thoughts... That's not good.

Yeah, never said you couldn't express your opinion, you can say or think pretty much anything you want. Like sometimes at night I wonder if taco is really Saturn slowly showing all his ceres timesavers in order to praise himself (no I don't really believe that, I just think of it as a unlikely possibility...)

Hope you're not talking about me there... I said nothing of the kind.
Besides when did hate get involved? If I know Saturn it would rather be pity for not realizing his greatness...
Anyway I do believe he actually got the time. Judging from his shown work on the game and various discoveries I'd say that if the time was possible to get he would likely have enough knowledge to do it.
And I really don't think he is such a sad person as to lie about something like this.

He basically means you are either stupid or sadly ignorant not to believe him.
But anyway, the possible 00:01 change in the clock will only come from changed clock behavior and not a saved frame right?
I think that is a huge overstatement, though ofcourse it is more interesting for him now, for anyone really. For 1 year you have been saying that 49:15 under all conditions is the perfect escape timer and the possibility to prove that wrong must be much more fun than to do a great deal of work just to tie a time in a movie that won't be the final version anyway.

The thing with getting that E-tank early is that it allows for a rather big route change and combined with torizo skip and various other new tricks it would make the run much faster. Still I think you should finish it as it is though

Is it not possible to make that hallway faster on the way to ridley to? Because now it is 2 frames faster on the way back. Also does that not affect the perfect steam in the second to last room? Good job anyway.
And now that the thread is up again, how is it going with everyones runs, any progress being made?

Well people who TAS on his level often tend to (as did I in my early work) be lazy, so if something is possible to do easier while taking approximately as much time (ingame) you do that even if it looks bad. Maybe he fond it easier to do the missile lake CWJ without hijump, or more likely he found the WS lake room to be easier without them, I don't remember if it's possible or not to do the first two jumps there with hijump without doing a walljump at the end of it.
Or he simply thought it to be impossible to do it without hiump but where wrong.
Or he is stupid.
Or I don't know.
BTW Tonksi, why don't you log on to MSN when I'm in instead :)

It's possible, it's even possible with the highest speed obtainable without acceleration storage, maybe even with (though it's only a 4096 subpx/frame difference so it does not matter much.)
I dunno if highjump will make the room after slower though... but that might be solved by more CWJ's.

Yeah but how outdated is it? The things that instantly comes to mind are acceleration storage (saves a frame here and there) and draygon. Are there more new things?

I think he is saying that saying Bisqwit is spelled wrong is like saying nfq or cpadolf is spelled wrong. Bisqwit is spelled correctly since when making the nickname he spelled it that way thus forever making Bisqwit the correct way of spelling it. No matter how the word it is based uppon is spelled.
EDIT: A little late.
