I do that by loading both files in Premiere.

I'd like to watch one, but I never played the game myself. I heard it's actually really bad compared to the first game, but that shouldn't matter. It will make an interesting movie. :)

I'm working on a superplay for Fire 'n Ice. I'd have started it way earlier, but at that time I thought it would be too boring for a movie. I still think it would be one of the less impressive vids to watch, but I've decided to make one anyway, since the game is really cool (and underrated) and has a very distinctive art style which I like a lot. I use a password to get to the final world directly, otherwise this movie would have been too boring, especially for the first levels. World 10 Level 01 (Works with Famtasia and Fire 'n Ice (U).nes). The first level so far. I've spotted two mistakes already (I move one tile further than necessary at two spots) and I'll take them out soon. I'll update this topic whenever I finish a new level. Hope you all enjoy! PS: I'm not too sure about this, but I'm thinking that maybe I should continue in FCE Ultra instead of Famtasia, since you can't see the clock at the bottom of the screen unless you use the scanlines hack, which is really too bad.

I like to play Chess, but I don't do it too often. I'm pretty good, but not at the level of a club player. Maybe I could give any of you a game sometime.

Okay Boco-hime :D But does that mean you're not gonna do world 2 after world 1, even if you get strategic help? In that case I'd take over the making of the conceptual movie myself if REALLY nobody else wants to, just because I really want to see it finished. I've never made a superplay before, though. But we'll see! :) In any case, it's going just fine right now. EDIT: I'm guessing Sandara (Thunder2) or Ramuh work well against the cannons. The launchers of the large cannon are Lv. 50, so Lv. 5 Death will take care of them. Then use Sandara to finish off the Sol Cannon? In any case, ArchaeoAvis' second form is Lv. 20. Lv. 5 Death will kill him.

Boco's really well-known with this game, so I trust that he'll find THE FASTEST way to finish it. I believe that the low-level one is, myself.

I think it's on the second page of the ToP thread in this forum.

I expect 4 hours, actually, since a speedrun of 5 hours is possible.

Phil's right. Modding your NES means you're not playing it on the original hardware in its original state, meaning it would not be a genuine world record. :p

Just curious, have any of you read my FFV LLG FAQ at gamefaqs? Do you guys have strats for every boss? I really want to see this video, but what would display, just the Boss Battles?
You mean this one? http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/file/final_fantasy_v_low_level_a.txt Seems pretty useful. :) If you want to see the video, then go back one or two pages: a link has already been posted. It's not an AVI, though, but a SNES9X movie file for the Japanese ROM version. And everything is shown; the game from start to end, including dashing through towns with the thief job. :) The ending will also be included.

Wow. Overclock your NES and beat world records because there's no lag in sprite-intensive scenes!

So... basically everybody agrees that a Fire 'n Ice run would be boring? :p

I was gonna do a Fire 'n Ice superplay but I thought that watching some guy solve puzzles in eight worlds with ten levels each would be boring.

That's right, but how does Death Claw work? I've never used it. You need to beat all four crystals at the same time, though (Gil throw?) EDIT: Or at least somewhat at the same time.

FRAME ADVANCING!!!!!!!!! Actually, probably going out a lot. Depends on if I'll get a job; an old friend offered me an address I have to check out. It's a job in the telemarketing sector, but just because he told me to look doesn't mean I'll get accepted. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
