When you took the slingshot detour, I was thinking "Man, how the heck is this going to be faster?" Then I was blown away in Ganon's Tower.

I don't believe the "nudity" part is the reason to not have it on the site. The hardcore sex act, on the other hand, is the reason to not have it on the site. You posted the Venus Di Milo... she isn't getting rammed from behind by the Statue of David. Secondly, tasvideos is a private entity, and thus it is at the discretion of the owners as to what sorts of material they wish to have on the site. People whine about free speech and freedom of expression all the damn time on private forums. Free speech exists in the public sector - you can still get kicked out of a bar if the owners don't like you saying racial epitaphs. Likewise, if a museum finds your art objectionable, they do not have to display it. As has been said in the past, it is pragmatic to draw a line of acceptable content. This isn't a porn site, there are plenty available on the internet.

I was thoroughly impressed with another Ahkeon Playaround. It was definitely good enough for me.

I suffered as a child to play this. Spent hours on it. Never once beat it. The last 10 seconds of the run, don't do justice to how painful that scenario is, using the grapling hook on the Mesas... Oh god, the horrors. Had to vote yes.

Calm down. His runs follow the rules. They are well done, and not spamming. Also, you'd be wrong.

Okay! We obsolete the Default branch by Glitched here, abandoning the jet glitch. Then I edit out that glitch from my Warps (Default branch) run and it gets restored in it's rights as NEW Warps (slower than OLD). Then we suddenly succeed to use the reset glitch in stage 1 and end the game right there. The jet glitch becomes UNABANDONED again, I resubmit the OLD Warps run and it obsoletes the NEW Warps (that didn't use the jet glitch), because the OLD one was faster.
This logic fails, because we now we know that the jet glitch can be used to end the game, so putting it back in the warped run would be foolish - you'd be using a known glitch sub-optimally. SMW is a perfect example - if using the same glitch could be used to warp 3 levels ahead instead of to the credits, it still wouldn't be allowed for the any% run. So, that argument fails. And having a slower run obsolete a faster one is not a new thing here. There is precedent for that. Having two runs use the same glitch, where one uses the glitch in a more optimal manner, does not have a precedent here.

Ok, I read this post. I read the description on youtube. I can't understand any of this. How is this important to the TAS/RTS? Please explain it like I've never played or raced wind waker, as I'm just casually following the progress of these glitches.

Now THAT is a speedrun! Yes vote! I believe this is another case where a new branch should be created because of memory corruption. See [1945] SNES Super Mario World "game end glitch" by Masterjun in 02:36.40 for reference. By the way, is there a way to kill Zitz on the way without losing time? It would make the "final battle" shorter after the end of input. @Radiant: The jump to stage 3 is achieved through a normal warp.
This is more like the SML2 setup - the warpless run does the same glitch, to only skip a single level. This one does the same glitch, but more effectively, skipping the entire game. This is unfortunate, because the warped run is pretty awesome.

Anyone can start a thread on a game they'd like to see TAS'd. We don't need mini-moderation via sarcasm.

**EDIT** I would care to issue an ultimatum. If this doesn't turn out faster I will cease ALL activity related to Oot speedruns and TASes for 10 years. If it does turn out faster all my doubters, libelers, and close minded non-productive people to the community will cease ALL activity related to OoT speedruns and TASes for 10 years. This includes IRC, ANY forum, ANY online stream site, ANY video hosting site such as http://www.youtube.com/, http://zeldaspeedruns.com/ http://speeddemosarchive.com/, and ANY internet relay chat, voice, or video such as AIM, ICQ, Skype, google chat, MSN, yahoo chat, Roger Wilco, Ventrilo, ect.; so long as the activity has any relevance to OoT speedruns and TASes. IP addresses and locations will be tracked, no new accounts will be made. It is a cease and desist and we can work out a legal binding document. In 10 years the losing parties can return as normal as wiser more open minded individuals and work cooperatively together. You can either accept this and be included in the legal document, or, apologize to me and say "I am sorry ______, it will never happen again and I'll be MUCH more open minded in the future", or let it be know to the entire community that you are a worthless coward and troll and will hopefully be ostracized by the community itself. If you choose the latter I will also file internet libel lawsuits against you, and you can see how well connected to University of Washington School of Law I am, as well as meet me in court or settle. You have 3 choices, choose wisely.
Interestingly, you are already banned from SpeedDemosArchive for similar behavior, so part of your "ultimatum" is moot. I'd hoped to ignore that fact, and allow you to continue to use this site, without bans on other sites influence my decisions. However, it seems at this point, impossible to ignore a pattern of disruptive behavior. Secondly, any time someone threatens a lawsuit, it puts this site in jeopardy. You have demonstrated that allowing you continued access to the site is endangering the safety of this site. You've turned yourself into a liability, one which I will not permit to continue. No one will be able to libel you here, as you are no longer welcome here. From this point on, you are no longer allowed to access this site. As mentioned in this submission (http://tasvideos.org/3001S.html) further access to the site puts you as the legal liability.

By the way, what proof do you have for this assertion? I'd expect some better argument from you than this. Also, even if this were based in reality, and not factoids pulled out of your ass, there are consistently 4 million births in the US per year. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0005067.html We aren't living in the world of "Childern of Men." Kids are growing up, and asking for consoles for birthdays, christmases, etc. For every kid getting off his parent's money, there is another being born on to it.

If this were true, then the Nintendo DS and PSP would have killed the PS3/Wii. Some people want to play on portable devices, and others want to play on TVs. Sorry, but there is no way the phone is going to take over a console. I would agree that phones could eat into the 3DS/Vita market.

Ugh, really moozooh? http://www.vgchartz.com/ Look at the current top seller: NCAA Football 2013. You really think the people who are buying that are going to buy something called Oozal? Ouizal? Or the Playstation 4 or Xbox 720 which has brand recognition? Publishers are not going to abandon those systems, they make a killing re-releasing the same Football, Basketball and Soccer games every year with updated rosters. And people aren't going to abandon their console-fanboyism. www.vgchartz.com/yearly/2011/USA/ Look at #1/#4 and #7, basically rehashes of the same game; and yet they sold as top sellers in 2011. Sorry, but you are living in a fantasy world. Console gamers who play football and war games aren't going to abandon them to fling cute birds around a screen. And, like it or not, those are the ones that account for the majority of gamers.
