The ads are very unobtrusive. I hope that it brings in enough cash to pay the server bills.

First off, I love Tapper. In fact, I have the actual arcade machine. However, its not an advisable choice for creating a TAS. First and foremost, there is no official end. While boards get progressively 'harder,' The difficulty maxes at approximately round 12-15. There are a total of 256 'boards' before the game overflows and sends you back to round 1. If you are interested in TASing it for your own sake, unfortunately you are out of luck. The mentioned systems have yet to have an emulator provided for them.

In short: FCEU.register( ) allows you to have input.get( ) to allow input between frames, i.e. somewhat 'embeds' input.get( ) into the GUI. Gens, does not. In fact, there is no way I know of to get Gens to receive key input between frames. This makes things such as FatRatKnight's multi-input and rewind script fail in conversion to gens, and additionally, far more difficult to implement. Any Emulator devs have any idea why this happens?

Alright, some of my real life commitments just finished. here is an updated run up to the prism flowers. Once again, Slade has gotten weak, and can't one shot monsters. I'm thinking a restart is in order.

[rage] Sir, did I ever say this was my submission? NO. As far as I know, this isn't your submission either. Furthermore, I would strongly encourage you (and anyone else involved) to refrain from insulting me with my old usernames - for good - and I don't think asking nicely will help. Surprisingly, that one incident from a while back is still in your head, like a criminal record or something when it's not supposed to be. GET OVER IT! [/rage]

Thanks for the permission pixelgoround, I really appreciate you giving me your blessing in this matter, considering it's not your submission.
Your earlier semi-indirect response to mmbossman in this thread suggested that you are the one who gives permission for him to take longer to judge a submission. Your reply was unnecessary, was unwarranted, and had an air of arrogance to it. mmbossman's sarcastic reply was an attempt to get you to realize that your post had these qualities. Obviously, you did not understand this fact, and therefore I am spelling it out in plain English. Once again, your newest post suggests that you have some form of control over how others perform or behave. You strongly encourage, instead of asking nicely. I'd suggest you look closer at why you got these responses, and adjust your own behavior.

That's a pretty kick ass glitch does that mean you are nearing completion of the the TAS?

If I'm understanding you correctly, (given a non-status effected enemy), the number of RNG executions between the current location in the table, and the next table location? In other words, you could come up with a number each frame, that told you how many executions of the RNG till the next critical? Perhaps also another counter that tells you how many RNG executions happened the last frame advance? I found the script difficult to use, because I couldn't use it to really predict the next critical. Granted, there was a ton of information on the screen that is probably more relevant to the hacker than the TASer.

HHS - Obviously you know how criticals are calculated - So I have a few questions- 1) How is this value calculated? 2) Can it be manipulated in advance? 3) Can you calculate say, 10 frames out? I tried to read your Lua code, but damn that is some complex stuff.

I also agree that this sounds awesome, and should be an (E) glitched run. Also, Lord Tom, according to your profile, you are an ER resident. How do you have... any time? Ever? Residents are called such because they... reside at the hospital 24/7. You are a great TASer, which boggles my mind, being a resident.

Agreed. 90% of your posts come with irrelevant pictures and text and I've grown tired of it.
It works in appropriate off-topic threads. But, it has to be funny and relevant. Lately, he's just posting crap for the sake of posting crap. Unfortunately, it is partially my fault for the turtle thread, which opened the door to posting silly pictures in main board threads.

I don't know that he was trying to submit it here flop. I think he was just trying to show us something cool, which he did. I enjoyed No Mercy, haven't had a chance to check out the 2nd one. A few questions - before the 'rescue call', I never saw a hunter, or smoker, and only 1 boomer. How did this happen? Also, was this at easy difficulty, or did no zombie ever hit you? Also, is it a PC only thing to play by yourself? I've only played on the 360, and the CPU players are always there.

Well, I'll go ahead and suggest zero tosses, because whoever suggested this game would get beaten up and tossed in a dumpster.

Actually some of the items mention nice stuff, like "Button Input Codes", "Special Move Memorization" and "Cartography" so I think it's just a list of dumped things, both bad and good.
As FODA showed, he liked that - However, I wonder how many of these things we remember fondly simply for the sake of nostalgia; i.e. they weren't that great, but we remember them as great because they are from our childhood. However, I partly agree with P_S. Back in the day, it was an achievement in skill to beat a game. Now all it takes is bloody persistence, with the constant auto-saves. "Poor little snowflake will be upset if he can't complete his game! Think of the children!"

Has anyone ever been prosecuted for publishing a game video as a case of copyright infringement?
As a quick clarification - this would be a civil case, not a criminal case. "Has anyone been successfully sued" would be the correct question. Also, I believe the answer is still no. I vaguely remember someone sending a C&D or lawsuit over a video of an entire playthrough of a yet-to-be-released game. I wish I could remember the game....

If Mega Man 3 is your favorite, go with ProtoMan Or ShadowMan. He was probably the most badass of the MM bosses.

I've actually been considering starting this up - The script written by HHS has a ton of potential to be used in making the TAS. Add FatRatKnight's multi-input script, and this TAS may be do-able. Finally.

You could always stop boss-sniping.
That doesn't make it much of a TAS, if I am needlessly killing units and spending time to make it easier, unfortunately.

The longer he can hold off of leveling the Force, the faster they'll be able to level once he does start letting them kill the grunts. ...well, that would be true, if it weren't for the 49 EXP cap per action. Bah.
Exactly. However, delaying the promotion of Z (bowie) and Slade, means that they could gain more attack pre-promotion. Sadly, promotion makes most characters suck more than less. There are some options around this - Only level Z and Slade, and let Peter continue to be bait - Replace Sarah's job with Z after the Taros battle... That would leave only two characters to power-level.
