what about out of bounds glitches? Will those be used in the run? Cause once again such a thing can skip lots of sections of dungeons and what not, which is why it's possible to skip all of wings of Ganon's Castle.

They come back with 0 hp and then die when life is casted on them. Then i hit the alert and a new one is summoned with full hp. Because you can't target a dead enemy and I can only get in 2 lifes before it's dead.

I'll quickly answer 3 here, Before Zeromus transforms via Crystal, you'll see him shake quite often. When he does this, it erases all status affects (including wall). I had to time wall and such around this so that i wouldn't nuke myself =)

edit2: also, how does this not count as a TAS? it's still super play, seeing as how it's probably not possible without tools, since if i remember correctly you need to be able to wall jump.

Why do people seem to subscribe to the multiple universe theory? There's no evidence of such a thing. Also, as far as i know there's no physical evidence of a black hole either (i.e. one has never been seen via telescope or otherwise) (if this is wrong, please direct me to a photo of one). (That last point is unrelated, just thought I would bring it up)

AnS, it's not possible in realtime. And as klmz was saying for his first submission, he had been trying to figure out a way to get past the flagpole without having to lower the flag. So he has been trying to do this for quite some time tool-assisted.

First run on Valvalis is done, but i'm sure this is improvable. We'll see anyway. This puts me at 7900+ frames ahead of the test run. Enjoy and such

Here's the problem Saturn. The definition you use is different from the definition that everyone else uses for the word perfect.
1. excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement
2. entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings
3. accurate, exact, or correct in every detail
Perhaps this is why everyone thinks that when you throw the word "perfect" around so much that it reeks of arrogance. Rather than perfect, you should perhaps call your "walkthroughs" -- "My most excellently TAS/Speedran 100% Walkthroughs." When you say the word perfect, you imply that your run is without flaw and unimprovable by even 1 frame. And for a game such as Secret of Evermore which is multiple hours long, well I would find that extremely hard to believe. Not to mention that your obsoleted Chrono Trigger was once in the category. Being that it has been obsoleted, by definition, it was not perfect. Please consider my words as not teasing or as a put-down. I'm meerly trying to bridge this gap between yourself and why people have a tendancy to dislike you. Hopefully once and for all this can just be put to rest...

Redid everything from the castle till killing the sisters again. Lots of things need to be said about this update.
1. I changed route in the middle of the castle because I can use the castle floor (not the red carpet) to increase my step counter without getting into an encounter. If I had needed to take just 1 more step in the Tower of Zot, I would have gotten into an encounter and woulda ruined this. So this nullified getting into another fight and lowered my random encounters by 1.
2. I performed the item duplication glitch here at the flame dog fight. You may be wondering why I bothered changing around the group back after the Dark Elf fight and then again before the sisters. It's because as I had discovered, the only group organization that would allow me to kill the flame dog with taking only 2 attacks was this way.
3. Doing the item duplication glitch will save over a minute worth of frames over the course of the next 3 fights. I won't tell you why yet, but stay tuned to find out. =)
4. You'll notice that when Kain comes to take me to the tower of zot that I moved onto the same square as him. This cost a frame, but I thought it looked cool...and in a 3hr movie, 1 frame for entertainment is perfectly acceptable.
5. Sisters fight is 996 frames faster, but took an extra 153 frames to get to them because of the item duplication glitch. Total savings from previous WIP = 843 frames.
I don't know if I'll be able to improve this sisters fight at this time. The luck manipulation for half the fight was nearly unheard of. I spent very few frames manipulating the fight. Of course I'll try because it's a long fight, but I don't know how feasible it'll be.
This puts me at 43sec ahead of test run.
